Am well ticked off with our band. We booked a band on the basis that the drummer is an old friend of the family. They play pubs and clubs around the Leeds and I know a few people who have seen them who say that they are really good. So I emailed them the 4 weeks to ask for a copy of their insurance certificate and PAT certificate for our venue so I can get all my paper work sorted. Yes it's 5 months away, yes I am that obsessed with getting everything done. I have heard nothing. Not a squeak. Sent a reminder the end of last week and still nothing. I need to know what's going on so I can make other arrangements if they haven't got the paperwork. I need to know now as another band will be so much more expensive than the mates rates I was being offered and will need to replan the savings! I don't want to just call the drummer at his home but I think I might have to
Ugh. Rant over........now - can anyone recommend a good wedding band in west yorkshire who'll also dj/play music either side of the live sets??
