wedding bands your thoughts are much appreciated.

Hello!

Im stuck at the mo on wedding bands - we have a £300 maximum budget for both

Would like your thoughts on the thickness of male and female bands?
Also the design i would like is white gold on yellow gold for mine and the opposite way round for H2B although i can only find these designs in 9ct gold the one i have found in 18ct is just ridiculously expensive - is 9ct ok when my other rings are 18ct do you think there will be a noticeable difference in quality??

Was also really pleased to see the post on light in the box as i was also thinking of using this company too - makes me feel more confident will have to get my sister to take another look. I have an appointment next week with a dress maker to see what the costs would be! im scared lol. With the wedding dresses that were ordered through the internet did you go to a bridal shop first and try designs and if you didnt are you happy with what you decided on and it suits your figure - i find it hard getting to places due to my children.

Would be very greatful for any input - sorry if this post is so random im usually at a dazed state at this time of the eve as my children have worn me out ;o)

I got told that 9 carot gold is harder than 18 carot, so it will rub against your other ring wearing down the meatl. been told this by a few jewellers, so if your e-ring is 18ct you should get 18ct for your wedding ring and vice versa. I personally am going for a 3 or 4 mm plain gold band, its yellow gold not white but is under £150

Thank you! I didn't know that or about the rubbing so much appreciated. I may have to go for a plain band then as i cant afford 18ct in two tone. I have a white gold e-ring so maybe a yellow gold band i'l get the look im after anyway!

    Hi there ?

Ive got a white gold 9ct e-ring but would have prefered a yellow gold one as I have a yellow gold eternity ring so to compliment them both, I am going to get one from H samuel which has a slim part of white gold and outlined with yellow gold which looks lovely.

    https://www.hsamuel.co.uk/webstore/browse/N/2+55+90/

This will take you to the page where the section is 2 colour gold. Im not advertising, just an idea for you. If you cant find your size put it in the search box and it should come up with some.

    Hope this helps

I'm not sure about the 18ct vs 9ct gold issue but the width of your WR will probably depend on the width of your ER. You would probably want the two to compliment each other. My WR is going to be 3mm.

I ordered my BMs dresses from the internet. They are Dessy dresses but we went to a bridal shop to try them on first to decide what we wanted then I ordered them. I know thats cheeky but I bought my wedding dress from the shop so don't feel just as bad about it!!!

Good luck with the rings!!! BTW - some of the girls have ordered rings from ebay and they are gorgeous

Looks like someone's trying to scam free advertising. Naughty.

Your post on OT reads like a bad Chinese troll.
