Wedding Buffet Caterers in Northampton. Any recs?

I have a friend getting married in Northampton this year. They are having an informal wedding and are having a buffet as their wedding meal.

Their current caterers are not being that great, they can't get hold of them very often and it's hard to get info out of them. They've not paid them anything yet, so they're not tied in yet. They asked me to ask around for a recommendtion.

So has anyone had a good company cater a buffet around the Northampton area?

    I can recommend The Rugby Club at Market Harborough, their chef is brilliant! Did our last Saturday! We had a sit down meal for 80, and it was all excellent, food and service! They do also do buffets!, might be worth asking if they do outside catering if thats too far to travel.

    Do NOT use Angel catering, she (Bev) messed us about, took money as a deposit, we coudlnt get n though with her, she tried to get us to pay for stuff in advance, then cancelled on us 3 weeks before the wedding. AWFUL!

    but the above Rugby Club were brilliant. Could not fault them Smiley smile

    Thanks for the info - they already have a venue, so it would need to be outside catering. I can ask the Rugby Club about doing outside catering.

    Thanks for the heads up on Angel Catering. I can't remember which company they are using at the moment.

    Anyone else got any recommendations?
