Wedding cake ideas.

Yikes, 2 October, 2009 at 10:11 Posted on Planning 0 7

This is my first post one here!!

I am getting married in September and put a deposit on the cake, well with a cake company, this week but i don't know what cake i want. I've looked on the net and got myself confused or so many i like. The only thing i do know is that i want a cake with tiers not staked. The company have been great and said that any cake i find they will make for us.

So i was wondering what kind of cake everyone had or is having, flashes more than welcome.

Thanks.

We are tempted to have a traditional wedding cake as well as a weddingt cheesecake from the Scottish Cheesecake company

    Hi Little Jen,

What a fabulous cake - it looks wonderful - bet it cost loads though - we're thinking of perhaps going to Waitrose - on their website they have some nice cakes and at reasonable prices - which to tell the truth, seeing as I can't eat wheat, so can't actually have any of the cake - I like!

You look wonderful too by the way - lovely dress.

    Paris x

    Hey Paris09

I can't have wheat either, however, my lovely aunt has made a fruit tier and a chocolate tier wheat free so I can indulge and nut free so that the groom doesn't end up in hospital!!

If you look around you may be able to find a local baker that would do at least one tier for you, wheat free, so you can still join in.
