Wedding cake - tick! *flash*

Under 2 months to go and we have finally sorted our wedding cake! A friend of ours who used to make cakes professionally (now retired) has very kindly offered to make our cake for us and we have gone for this:


We are only having quite a small wedding so 2 tiers should be enough. We are having it in dark chocolate rather than milk though ? What do you think?

    I would have liked something like this but decided against it as the venue can't keep our cake refridgerated until displayed so didn't want to risk a big melted mess!

    Og my god, that looks delicious! We are going to have a chocolate cake as well. But not decided what kind.

    Ooh yay, glad you all like ? I was having little wobbles you see as I wasn't sure it was "weddingy" enough - if you see what I mean! But I would be more than happy to eat it (nom nom nom) so am sure it will be OK! Just hope it survives until we cut it... (both from melting and from children)!
