Not having a proper cake , my aunt will be doing the top cutting cake.

But we are having loads of cupcakes. This a a peak of the lady that is doing our cupcakes

This was our cake - chocolate and vanilla sponge with a fabulous cake topper made by my bridesmaid / best friend since the age of 5.

Here's mine. Was my first attempt at a cake, so quite chuffed it actually came out OK...

Okay... We are having two personalised ones! One each and they reflect are personalities. MIL is in charge of OH's so he has decided on a Mont Blanc cake as he climbed it in summer! His will look a bit like this:

They have been given creative freedom to make us bespoke cakes. I'm having a pretty knife and he is using his climbing axe.

Tacky we know...but the rest of the wedding is traditional black and white theme so we thought we would ha e some fun.

Haven't got a picture of my cake but I will be making these for the sweetie table - this was my first attempt last night!

Our theme is teal and buttons so we are having button topped cupcakes (the first image) but with teal colours in (the second image) we are also having a top tier of fruit with buttons on it but that hasnt been decided yet!
