Wedding content and timeline, does this sound okay?

Hi guys,

I've never really been a wedding guest before as such so I'm really worried about my wedding guests coming and thinking my day was rubbish. So please give any tips or ideas we could bring in or adjust that you would suggest may make things a better day for the guests. I know ultimately it is about myself and my partner but I really dread the fact that anyone may slate our day.

So we have a 3pm ceremony, followed by an alcoholic drink each and photographs.

4.30pm is afternoon tea (sandwiches, crisps, sausage rolls, cakes and scones) with sparkling wine to toast and unlimited teas or coffees.

7pm evening reception. We have DJ entertainment and a photo booth. A candy cart.

7.45pm first dance and cutting of the cake.

9pm hog roast and sides. (no desserts as yet, ?Wedding cake for dessert... but would that be too much cake after the afternoon tea?)

Are you sure you have net been a guest at a wedding before because that looks spot on to me.

4.30 - 7 for the afternoon tea will also allow a while to chill and relax before the evening guests arrive and it all kicks off again.

    Sounds perfect for me!

Love a late ceremony - lots of time to relax beforehand.

I - like you - am worrying that there is too many cakes ? but some people LOVE it so I wouldn't be too bothered.
