Wedding Crackers

WinterBride14, 7 May, 2014 at 08:45 Posted on Planning 0 27

I've come across these 15cm wedding crackers which come with a name card & are filled with 5 chocolate hearts & a love trivia card. We get married on 28th December & our colours are Red & Silver Grey....my question is this....if you attended a wedding between Xmas & New Year would you think these crackers were tacky or cute?

I like the idea. Especially for a winter or christmassy wedding.

I think they are perfect! Do they do them in other colours? Could you say where you found them please?

Definitely cute. If I went to a Christmas wedding, I would be disappointed if there weren't crackers!

Thanks ladies. They are by Frou Frou & Thomas & you can either get them direct from them or from Not on the High Street (who seem to have more choice)

Cute idea for crackers ... but they look a bit ... much!?

Maybe it's just me, I don't like frills and fancies.

THIS ^^^^ is what i'm afraid my OH might think. Maybe we should order one to see what it looks like. The only other thing we're having on the table are tall martini glasses with red roses, winter berries in.

I like them - been toying with the idea of getting a few of these to scatter on the tables, but still undecided!

I think the idea is cute but the styling of that particular one is a bit OTT for me.

Waaaahhhhhhhhh! I NEED the mini silver ones in my wedding now!! I already have my favours though. Smiley sad(( Might have to re-think. If I drink the alcohol favours we've bought I'll have to buy new favours........... How many units is 60 small bottles of vodka/bourbon..........

If they were big they might be a bit much but at 15cm (they are classed as mini crackers) I think they will look lovely. Splashes of red on each plate and the place setting on them in calligraphy saves you on the place settings too. BUY THEM, BUY THEM NOW!! ?

We're getting married on 20th December and are having crackers as favours, just plain red ones and I think I'm going to get some of the clear labels and print out names and the date and stick them on. I'm having personalised chocolates in there and have got some red organza bags that I'll put some sweets in. I got the cracker making sets just after christmas for half price as they were on offer - Just need to make them up now!

For anyone that's interested.....we have decided that we need to have wedding crackers. However, we've ordered a couple of these & a friend has offered to make something similar to bring the price down & so we can put in whatever we want to. The day is coming together nicely. ?

I get married 6th December, and am looking to make crackers

I bought a very large paper punch that cuts crackers, and then you can fill them (and decorate them ) yourself - mine wont have a SNAP in them, but i can also scale them, so they'll be little ones...

I love these, they are fun and pretty, but I'd prefer a little less ribbon on them

We have other favours, but most people i know like a bit of distraction at a dinner, so am just doing for fun
