After waiting forever for my H2B to finally put s ring on it, he proposed just before christmas! We set a date for 2 years after, and have now booked our venue (The Hospitium in York's beautiful museum gardens) for the 28th December 2014! In my excitement, armed with a my mum and close friend we had a look in wedding dress shops. Long story short, I tried on Geraldine by Enzoani, fell in love with it and before I knew it mum was putting the deposit down.. (it was reduced from £2000 to £600!!). I did spend the rest of the day looking at others and tried on a few more to be safe, but then thought "what the hell!".
I love love love the dress, but am now worrying that I didnt try on enough different styles, and dont want to end up hating the dress by the time my wedding comes around!! Has anyone else had such a short and quick dress hunt?
Also, as I am wanting something of a Hollywood Glamour feel, I want my H2B in a tux and am thinking of putting a dress code on the invites...will my guests be offended? Sme of them are not known for dressing smartly so im hoping it may encourage them to do so... My H2B is basically just letting me get on with everything!!!
