We are having a fingerprint tree, each of the guests leaves a fingerprint leaf until the tree is full Smiley smile

There are a few for free download if you google them

We're having a photo frame as our alternative (the cardboard mount bit). On the day, we'll have a photo from our engagement shoot in the midde, but after, we'll change it to a whole-group photo from the day. So then everyone's messages will be there for us to read whenever we want

I've seen wooden guestbook puzzles on Inpspire Me Designs' website - might fit in with your wooden/rustic theme?

    Hi Peanut

    Thanks for the mention.

I do indeed do wooden guest book puzzles. Each one is unique and you can really have anything you want on it and in any shape.

    They are proving very popular.

I'd love to hear from you

    Nat

We're having a signed frame as well - just bought it actually off ebay!

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350559379657?var=620048841899&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

I also want a chalk board so people can write messages and take pictures with them....but not sure yet. and also not sure whether we should also have a guest book as well as the frame?!?!

hmmm think it might be too much?

    We had a message tree

My mum already had the storm lanterns which we filled with coloured stones, then the big paitned twigs which we got from a florist stall at the market. we then draped the pearl garland mum usuall puts on her christmas tree over the branches. We had a frame with a message inviting guests to write a message on a luggage tag and place it on the tree!

We got some family members to do some the night before so there were some hanging when guests arrived.

Im going to (yes I did get married well over a year ago and still ahvent done it!!!) stick the tags in an album next to a photo from the day of who ever wrote it!

We got some silly/drunken/rude messages but we just threw them out!

    Hi!

We sell alternative guest books so might be able to help in your search! Our signature product is the A1 wall mounted acrylic board which is personalised to your requirements then displayed at you venue for your guests to write one. This can then be mounted on a wall in your home which makes a great conversation piece and a bit different from just having photos up! We also sell acrylic place mats which, again, are written on by your guests and can be used when dining at home. These are great for placing on each of your tables at the wedding breakfast to make sure your guests all write something for you!

Please visit our facebook page for more info, just search for "Comments for Keeps" or email us at ****************@*******.**.**

Here is a picture of the A1 board :-)
