Wedding Hair

Mine came home part way through so I let him see. He won't remember the small details anyway! It might be pushing it as to whether he remembers now after a week!

Mine saw my hair and makeup, and even my shoes and veil beforehand!

I actually hadn't even thought of this Not a silly question though!
I'm thinking mine won't see mine..he'll be working when I get my trial i'd imagine and i'll take some pics to save then have it washed before he gets home haha.
Not sure why, I suppose I think the less he knows about how i'll look the better, that way everythings a surprise like the dress, hair & make up, veil etc..just imagine it'll feel more of a surprise for him not knowing anything

Ooh that's made me think! I hadn't thought about it at all. I've hidden all of my accessories round my parents as I don't want OH to see any of it before the big day but if my hair looks pretty I'm not going to want to take it out!

I'm going to let mine see it. He has a terrible memory and no observation skills so even if he does notice I look any different on that day (which I doubt!) Then he won't remember by the time we get married. And it will look very different with the dress&accessories etc

Is it bad luck letting him see the hair in the same way that is supposed to be bad luck him seeing the dress? Oh man, another superstition to uphold!

I'd be the same though, if it looks nice I won't want to take it out! I might ask her to do something different before I go home so what he sees isn't my hair on the day, OH has a terrible memory but if he knows I'm going for a trial he will remember and I'm not very good at telling porkies lol

I want it curled and put up, so just going to take it down so I still feel I have had it done but he doesn't see the style.

No, my hair wasn't kept a "secret" from my H, neither was my dress.

My hairdresser took mine out for me before I left the salon but she took some photos for me before she took it out, she said that most brides have it taken out before they leave.

To be honest I wanted to keep my whole look for the day a surprise and also I would have felt like a bit of an idiot to say the least walking arounf Asda all dolled up afterwards.

Yep, I'll be taking mine out, for me the whole look, dress, hair, shoes etc is a surprise, my boy remembers silly details like this so no way is he seeing before hand.

My guy remembers nothing and notices even less ?

Its going to be tricky him NOT seeing it as I want a curl and put up (I think) and need to see if it will last all day and all evening before \i decide (my hair has its own mind lol)

He has seen my shoes. well he had too as I plan on wearing them around the house before the big day, just to make sure they are comfortable.

But it would be nice for it to be a surprise.

It's not a stupid question. Like most who've replied, I wanted my whole look to be a surprise. My wedding hair was very different to anything I'd ever had so if I'd gone home afterwards, he would have definitely remembered it! So I didn't have to have taken straight out, I went round my Mum's then my best mate's after the trial to show them. I reluctantly got my best mate to take it down for me before I went home.

I did let him see me after my make up trial because I couldn't bring myself to take it all off before he got home! I think that's different to the hair though. He's seen me made up before so it wasn't ruining anything.

I might show my hairstyle on a picture I took from the net to ask his opinion, but might leave the real thing for the big day

Not out of superstition, but to keep the surprise wrapped up!
