wedding insurance if u want to cancel?

kaz9274, 29 September, 2010 at 10:00 Posted on Planning 0 1

Morning Ladies I hust have a quick question for anyone who can help!

What happens with your wedding insurance if you decide to cancel your wedding? I am not sure if I want to anymore so there isn't a reason as such, will the insurance help with the cost we will be liable to pay??

Thanks

It depends on the reason you want to cancel. (I just took out my wedding insurance last night so was reading through loads of policies.) If you change your mind about getting married nothing gets paid back. If you're forced to cancel by other circumstances then depending on the circumstances you should get some money back.

With my insurance it depends on why you cancel - if I changed my mind about H2B then no, if something happens eg: My other half gets called to work away, a close family dies, there is a flood etc then I can claim "some" cash back. but still not all.

I don't want to prey by asking too much as it must be very personal, but hope your ok.
