I'm 131 days to go and also worried about walking down the very long aisle.

I can't really offer any advice but I can tell you what I'm planning on doing:

    1. Practicing how I'm going to walk - (with my wedding shoes on)

    2. Start practicing my smile in the mirror (lol sounds ridiculous but I'm quite shy!!)

    3. On the day - relaxing, focusing on the music, give a few looks around to all our family and friends and giving them a little smile and then eyes on my lovely h2b as I walk down the aisle.

Just remember that the people there are only there because you have asked them to be a part of your special day. Also, no-one will be judging you they will just be looking and thinking how beautiful she looks.

    Good Luck xxx

    Get a shorter aisle! ?

Only joking, I have a little whole to go compared to you ladies, but I'm worried about the whole day! I am worried I'm going to fall flat on my face either coming down the stairs from the room I'm getting ready in or walking down the aisle. I'm worried about blubbing as I know OH will have a tear in his eye. Neither of us like being the centre of attention or having our photo taken - not looking good is it.

I'm just going to try an relax and enjoy the poeple, my TOG is lovely and said apart from the usual group shots I will not know she is there. This puts me at easy a little. Luckly my aisle is quite short!

I'msure you'll both be fine and the adrenaline will kick in! as amanda66 said people are there to share your special day!

I am the same, I don't like attention being directly on me so I'm going to find it very strange, I am actually dreading the walk down the aisle and looking forward to it at the same time! I think I will just have a couple of glasses of bucks fizz when I'm getting ready and maybe some rescue remedy - I've never used it before but it is supposed to calm nerves so I am going to give it a go if I remember to buy some the day before!

I don't like full attention on me either. I would prefer it if my OH was walking down the aisle to meet me instead of visa versa (we joke about this). I also go bright red when I have to speak in front of a room full so am glad I'm not having to give a speech. When I tried on one of the bridesmaid dresses I felt far more comfotable in it than my own wedding dress lol!

The way I see it, is that this attention is for one day only and it will be all for good reasons that people are focusing on you. I'm getting married in a school hall so have the length of the hall as a runway....I mean aisle. I am actually going to try and enjoy the limelight, it's not everyday I have my hair and make up done professionally, wear a gorgeous dress and have beautiful music chosen by me and played to me by a pianist. x

Maybe have a little drink before you go (not too much as you don't want to be staggering down the aisle) i certainly will be having one to help calm the nerves.

Also just look directly ahead focus on your groom that way you wont be daunted by all the other guests.

I agree with funkyjameseo a little drink beforehand.

I am the same i feel like im gonna get the giggles when i walk past everyone, so my plan is to try n block them out and just look at my H2B xxx

I'm so glad its not just me, I hate being the centre of attention to the point that I get embarrassed when people sing happy birthday to me!! lol Im worried about being bright red in all our photos as I blush really easily. Might have to have a couple of calming drinks beforehand lol

I too am quite looking forward to being the centre of attention! But all I can say is, remember you are going to be surrounded by the people that love you, no one is going to mind if you go a bit red or tearful (i'll cry my eyes at mine!) As soon as you set foot on the ailse, take a deep breath and as soon as you see your man at the end everything else will fall into insignicicance!

    Enjoy your day girlies xx

I was really worried about this.. When I get nervous/anxious etc I come out in severe rashes on my chest and arms, I even went to the doctor about it to see if there was something I could take on the day.... But I am happy to report that throughout the entire day I didn't get one rash, I think I was so happy it overroad any other emotion I was feeling. My advice would be try not to stress too much about it because it might just make it worse!! Good luck girls xx
