Wedding License!!!

Hi Everyone!!

I have just posted this on Fb but thought i would ask here as well....... Do I need a marriage license? ( im getting married in a c of e church) my friend is getting married in a catholic church and has to have one!! help this is the first i have heard of it!!!

    I don't think you will need one for a CoE wedding, you'll have banns read instead. But just check with your priest for peace of mind.

    Thats what i thought, we met with the vicar last week and he never mentioned it... think i will make a phone call in the morning lol x

    You don't need one for CofE... The rules are different. Don't worry!

    We are haing a RC service so have to have a marriage licence AND Banns Read!!!!!!!!!!!
