Wedding make up

I need help with regards to make up. I've got a make up artist booked and she's me to compile some pics to show her at my trial.

When I google wedding make up nearly all of the pictures look nice!

I know that you're only supposed to emphasise either your eyes or lips and I definitely prefer my eyes to be dominant. Even fact, I don't mind quite heavy eye make up. I prefer pale lipstick/gloss but I've read a few times that you need to wear a lip colour that will stand out in your photos, and since I read that I've looked at lots of real-life wedding articles in the mags and it really does make a difference. So how do I do that without it clashing with my eyes?

Has anybody got any advice/pictures?

I need help! ?

    Just have a look at other mua's galleries. There are loads of pics on my Facebook page to give inspiration. I find the images that come up on Google are very 'american' looking. There are no rules for bridal makeup, just go with what suits you. Hope that helps a bit.

    Lemon Violet/Lynne your post has made me so happy! I get married next Friday and am doing my own make-up using Bare Minerals. My mum is also going to be using it. I had my hen night on Saturday and decided to wear it then and my skin definitely looks better than it usually does in the pictures from that - even after a good few drinks and dancing! x
