Wedding Planner?

CarolynRach, 31 January, 2012 at 09:44 Posted on Planning 0 9

Hi,

Just wondering if any of you used a wedding planner (a paper one, not a person) and if so, which one would you recommend? I want to get the best one but I don't want to pay a fortune for it. Or not get one at all if they don't' help.

Thanks,

Carolyn xx

I did a lot of searching on the high street and finally found one I loved in John Menzies. (is that what it's still called?!) It was about £12 and I'm making a point of making it as much into a memory book as a wedding planner. It might help you to physically look at a few before buying one as I didn't like the first 6 or 7 I looked at so am v glad I didn't buy online before looking.

My MOH bought me one from the US that's completely 1990's! All the pictures are dated and on one of the lists in it there's VCR cassettes listed! But that being said, it's useful. It's called "The Bride's Year Ahead," but as a lot of the information is based on North American customs and traditions, it might not be worthwhile.

Looking forward to network with you all. I offer wedding services and event planning. My services also include wedding gown design and bridal gown illustrations of the gown you feel in love with. Not only will you have your gown in pictures, but also as an art form. My suggestion is, If you are not in budget wedding, you may use wedding planner for your wedding.

Your 1990s one sounds fab but yet, my wedding is in the UK so needs to be quite UK focussed.
