Wedding planning in Cyprus...

Lei-diego, 30 July, 2013 at 19:46 Posted on Honeymoons & Getting Married Abroad 0 1

Hi, me and my partner are trying to plan a wedding in Cyprus for August 2014 but really don't want to go through the travel agents because they charge stupid prices, I have a decent budget and just don't want to waste it on commission for the travel agents, anyway...

I have no preference on where in Cyprus but I would prefer a beach destination, I just really someone can point me in the right direction on where and how to start and get the ball rolling, any help or advice will be appreciated, thank you.

    Hey there,

    Well done on your engagement!

You did a brilliant choice, Cyprus is truly amazing and it has fantastic beaches that can complement your wedding pictures. I am sure you will love it there. Did you see specific venues that you like? Any specific city? have you been to Cyprus before?

I myself are from allbridesonboard, a wedding planning company for every bride & every budget. Our methodology is always to understand your needs /wants / dreams/ budget. This can be done by meeting you in person if you live near Edinburgh/ Glasgow/ Newcastle or talking to you through Skype/ phone / emails or through a first consultation questionair. It depends on your preferred method of communication. Then we can put together a selection of packages according to your descriptions, your character, your budget and your dreams and of course adapt the packages in case you want alterations so they will 100% match your dreams. There is absolutely no obligation on buying our packages if you answer our questionair and receive our suggested packages.

The reason for our methodology is that is that we believe that every couple is special with different needs and wants and you should not settle in generic ready made packages no matter how big or small your budget is. Thus, we want to adapt the packages based on your needs and be flexible with everything. What we aim is not to adapt your needs for fitting with a package, our aim is to adapt the package to fit your needs. In this way we are more personal and close to your dream wedding.

    Hi,

We are looking at booking the Alexander the Great hotel for September 2013. Reviews look amazing. I have spoken to the wedding organiser direct but will still be going through a travel agency just because I am worried about the paper work etc. And I worry about trusting a company I have no idea who they are! After all if it goes wrong we can't do it again!

The wedding bit is about £800 which includes taking us to the town hall to do all the paperwork 3 days before.

The hotel seems very expensive to stay in but I am not sure if this is Cyprus in general? I also feel worried as apart from the party in the UK it seems to be fairly easy to sort everything out as its all part of the package!

Be good to let me know how you get on.....we are hoping to book next week so be good to help each other!
