Wedding Reception Help in Aldershot/Farnham/Farnborough

Welcome to hitched Your church looks lovely - every time I drive past I think how nice it is there with the park. If only the big mansion house did weddings, hey?

Northbrook Park nr. Farnham was our favourite venue out of them all but we couldn't afford it. It's cheaper if you don't go for a Friday or Saturday though. You have to hire your own caterers there.

And there's the castle in Farnham - I loved that idea, but we wanted somewhere with a ceremony licence (although we've actually gone for a church wedding too now!)

Have you considered a marquee? I think you can have them at Tweseldown.

How about the Frensham Pond Hotel, Farnham? We are getting married there in July 2013, it is in a stunning location plus I think they allow outside caterers although we are just using them. Hope that helps! x

Dont know if this helps, but I live in Fleet and am having the wedding at Taplins Place in Hartley Wintney. It's got gorgeous gardens and fields and a converted outbuilding almost like a barn. It's a private house and they allow you to do exactly what you want, including caterers. Hope that helps, Sam

It might not quite be the thing but there is a village hall in Pirbright where you have total choice. It is 15mins from Aldershot.

It's so nice to hear good things about Taplins! I'm a little daunted by the amount that needs to be pulled together if that makes sense, but I fell in love with the gardens etc! And I do like the control it gives you too.....
