Basically it was an fantastic day. Woke up about 7 after very little sleep due to excitement I think. I was very chilled, no one could believe that I wasn't nervous at all - I think it was because it didn't seem real - all that planning and it was finally here.
Hairdresser arrived - she was fantastic - a really good person to have around -(Gel mobile salons, wakefield). Make up artist sick - still no panic I booked a virgin Vie make up artist so they sent someone else, at the trial she gave me a list of the products she used so it was all good. I actually liked the end result better so maybe happend for a reason.
First lot of tears from my mum came just from her making sure the make up artist used waterproof mascara on her, lol this set me off a little. Nearly in tears at a few points leading up to wedding.
Went quickly up till 3pm. Everyone commenting on how lovely I looked before ceremony - Had to ask people not to be nice to me as this was making me teary. Got to door of room and this is when I started to get a bit nervous - the doors opened and I could see everyone turning to look at me. Started to walk in and Dad stood on my dress!
Walked up to see a big smile on husbands face - ceremony went by in a bit of a blur (cant wait to see DVD to see what I actually said!) Only bits I really remember washusband giving me his right hand instead of his left, and the registrar saying my surname a little wrong which required massive concentration from me not to laugh - but I managed it. Also managed not to cry.
Weather stayed nice for photo's (bit worried about photo's as he seemed to like cheesy poses! but we will see)
Reception all went well, everyone commented on how nice food was. I removed my shoes during meal and never put them back on which led to two broken big toe nails from dancing all night - my feet were black!
Once the ceremony was over at 1am - we and a few of our friends went to hotel bar for a few more bottles of champagne - finally went to bed at 3am. I had the best day ever.
Then off to san francisco on the monday - on to hawaii and back home yesterday to the bloody freezing weather.
Really looking forward to dvd, the day went so quickly - advice to all b2b's - enjoy it all dont get too stressed its not worth it!
