Arrived at hotel at 6pm with my niece and met my best friend (both of these were bridesmaids)
Met up with oh who was already at the hotel with my 2 boys, and went for tea.
got back to hotel around 9ish and sat in reception talking to some of the guests that were staying there, didnt want a late night so me and the girls went to our room around 10.
When we got back to the room we sat chatting and painting our toe nails and eating the goodies that i had brought, finally got into bed around midnight and then couldnt sleep as i was so excited. think i managed to get about 3 hours sleep.
Friday 14th Wedding day.
woke up at 5 and lay in bed for an hour trying not to wake the girls up. Got up at 6 as really needed the loo and then the girls woke up.
We all got dressed and then went down for breakfast at 7 although i couldnt eat anything, my best friend forced me to eat some toast.
After breakfast we went back to the room and my hairdresser and the makeuplady arrived at 9.30, we all had our hair and makeup done and were ready by 12o'clock.
i was so relaxed and didnt feel nervous by this point and after ironing the dresses just to make sure they looked perfect we sat on the bed playing top trumps with my niece.
The tog arrived at 1pm and took some pics of us all and the dresses and shoes, then went to take pics of my oh and the boys.
finally put my dress on at 1.30 and then seemed to be waiting for ages till the tog came back and took some more pics then once we had seen the registrar it was time to go.
we got to the ceremony room and my bridesmaids went in 1st (they were more nervous than me). I walked down the aisle with my brother and when igot to the bottom mt oh was trying his hardest to hold the tears in.
The ceremony was lovely and both my eldest and oh's nephew did a reading, My eldest was also in charge of the music and did a brilliant job.
After the ceremony we had drinks and photos taken then it was time for the meal. The room was amazing and they had exceeded my expectations. The meal was scrummy and they even changed my sisters desert as she is pregnant and couldnt have the chocolate shot pots.
the kids all had a great time playing with the things out of their gift bags that we had done for them. Then it was time for the room to be changed round for the evening so we all went into the bar and the atmosphere was brilliant the whole day.
the evening guests arrived and more drinking was done and a lot of dancing (my feet were black at the end of the night).
The whole day was perfect and i felt like i had a permanent grin on my face all day.
The hotel was excellent and when we got back to our room around 1.30 there was bubbly, strawberries and chocolates waiting for us.
