Wedding ring disaster!!

Savethedate, 6 May, 2014 at 19:28 Posted on Planning 0 7

I thought I must share this with my fellow brides to be! We had both of our wedding rings engraved at the weekend, wedding is in August.

I happily wrote the date down for the jeweller who asked me to check 21.09.14

Yes, yes I said lovely!

Still didn't think anything of it when I picked them up, only noticed big mistake when showing them to FMIL...the date I should've asked for is 21.08.14 !!!!

So stupid of me....could always put the wedding back a month?!?

You may be able to get the 9 turned I to an 8, depending on what font you have, don't panic! I'm pretty sure they would be able to fill the 9 in and re engrave if needs be.

Go back to where you booked the engraved go and see what they can do, I'm sure plenty have mad a silly little mistake before.

You are not the only one! I took this photo at a wedding and didn't notice the problem... nobody noticed this, which was on the door at the hotel. Their wedding was in August!
