Wedding Songs

I don't know now! I was going to walk in to Nimrod by Elgar, but Iain thought it sounded like a funeral! We're going to have some music while signing the register - "I'm Yours" Jason Mraz, "Bring on the Night" The Police and "Let your Love Flow" Bellamy Bros.

Then we're going to walk back out to "Bring me Sunshine" by Morecambe and Wise!

I'm wanting to walk in to the band of brothers theme but have noooo idea what i want us to walk out of, cant be modern. hope u find something.

This is still very much an area up for discussion in our house at the moment!

Recessional - If we don't have "For Once in My Life" for the signing of the register, then we'll have the upbeat Stevie Wonder version for the recessional. Otherwise the only other thing we can come up with at the moment is "Greatest Day" by Take That!

We're going to go round to the in-laws once they're back from holiday and go through my FFIL's collection of swing records though, just in case we've missed anything!

I wanted something different to walk down to and even picked the song. Then i went to our rehearsal 2 days before and they played Wagner's Bridal Chorus. I changed my mind completely when i heard it being played in the church. It was an amazing feeling!

We had our gospel choir sing Oh happy day to walk out to.

I was thinking of having the theme from 'Much ado about nothing' but I'm wobbling on that one...even though I love it and it gives me goosebumps etc. I (we ?) would like to finish the ceremony with 'love is in the air' from strictly ballroom...love that one loads!!

Because it's a beach wedding I don;t even know if we'll be able to hear the music ??

ETS: forgot to add that I'm currently toying with having 'Tender' by blur as the entry song...but it's about sex (i think), but the words are quite appropriate and it's long so gives me plenty of time to struggle down the cliff to my darling!!
