Wedding Songs - What do u think?

Love the entrance and signing songs (not sure I've heard the exit one!)

We had:
entrance; Richard Marxx - Right Here Waiting (For You) Instrumental
signing; The Ronettes - Be My Baby (Dirty Dancing)
exit - The Temptations - My Girl

Love those, especially Be my baby!

Awww mr blue sky is a great song! fab choice!

we had the theme to band of brothers to walk into, cept the minister brought us in too early so we looked a bit daft standing at the back of the church waiting for the bit to walk in to.

we signed to Don henleys For My Wedding

and we left to a traditional classical piece which I dont know the name of!

not sure if they would fit in with my day, but they are great songs!!

Wow wouldnt have even thought of the band of brothers theme tune, what a great idea.

We both love Mr Blue Sky, think its a really fun piece of music to leave to!

Can I be a pain and ask someone to name the songs for me as I am at work and my pesky computer wont let me onto YouTube!

We're undecided on my entrance song however we're hoping one of our friends will play the guitar when we're signing the register, he plays U2 - With or Without you beautifully. And we're planning on exiting to The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger ? x

At the moment we're thinking of:

Entrance: Kissing You by Des'ree (from Baz Lurhman's Romeo and Juliet)

Signing: Heartbeat by Jose Gonzalez, One Day Like This by Elbow and Kiss Me by either Sixpence None The Richer or New Found Glory

Exit: I'm Feeling Good by Nina Symone or Muse

Could all change by March of course ?

Quick question on the music..

Who controls the music on the day, do you need to get someone to turn music on/off etc

or is it the registrar office? do you supply CD or something

I was unsure of this. In the little booklet i got it said there is a cd player avaliable in the registrar's office. Im getting married in the hotel and they have a system at the back that is controlled by one of the staff and i have to supply the cd. Dont know who would control it in the registrary office?

We chose about 15 songs to be playing before and after the ceremony it was brilliant, although I only heard the ones after I walked onto the beach
