Wedding Stationary

pinkypoo85, 16 March, 2015 at 09:06 Posted on Planning 0 7

We have had to change our venue due to issues with them and service which made me have major wobbles and not love it anymore. Every time we went back I liked it less and less which was a shame as it was where I had always wanted to get married. We have found and booked a new venue which we both LOVE! But we have had a date change to a Friday, Friday 5th August 2016. So due to the fact it’s a Friday and slap bang in the middle of the summer holidays (lots of our family are teachers so take holidays in the month of august) we wanted to get our save the dates out as believe it or not I have already had someone tell me they can’t come! She is a very good friend and I am devastated, she is not a teacher she just said it’s impossible to ask for a day off work for a wedding!

My question therefore is, where did you get your wedding stationary from? Originally I was going to make all of it but pricing it up its going to cost me more than I thought and also the time it will take will be more than I though. I have been looking at a few places over the weekend but wanted to know where all yours is from to look at other things!

Thanks! x

I have done all of mine on vistaprint.
It is costing £105 for invites, rsvp's, evening invites, order of the days, info card for food and matching envelopes for all.

We've made our own so cant recommend anywhere to buy them from, but if you do change your mind and want to make them PDA card has been an excellent find, brilliantly quick delivery (ordered Wednesday night arrived Friday morning) and we felt the prices were very reasonable Smiley smile

I believe there are a lot of card makers on Facebook so might be worth a look on there

    Best of luck Smiley smile

I second PDA card if you are making your own, we ordered our pocket folds from here and they were so much cheaper than anywhere else I found and the quality is fantastic! We are just putting our invites together after our test ones.

I've decided to order our invites from paper chase. I can get the invites, place names and a guest book in the same pattern for 60 quid xx

I made our invites and place names, but we bought our table plan and table names from The Pattern Boutique - www.thepatternboutique.co.uk

They had a design which perfectly matched the bits I'd made Smiley smile

We used http://paper-shaker.com/ - very reasonable, plus they give frequent 30% discounts. You can also order samples of your design before you commit to a larger order.
