Wedding Tattoos

Muppet, 17 January, 2014 at 11:07 Posted on Planning 0 14

So, I've been toying with the idea of getting a tattoo to commemorate our wedding. Not sure what yet, not names!! but maybe the date..

Any one else doing something similar?

Definitely not names!! OH doesn't have any tattoos but I'm littered with them. Going for an infinity symbol on my rib cage.

My friends have wedding tattoo. They decided to do yin and yand symbols at the back of neck. Really nice idea if you both like tattoos.

I didn't get one specifically because of the wedding but I did get my first tattoo the year we got married as it was a big year for us and I wanted symbolise it in some way. I got a heart with a peace sign inside it. I would also like to get 2013 or our wedding date tattooed on my but not in standard numbers but cant find a nice pretty way yet.

I was looking at Arabic numbers - I used to live in the middle east, so they have meaning to me too. I think I will. Should probably run it past the OH first.

Our wedding gifts to each other are tattoos, but we're choosing whatever we like, it doesn't have to be wedding related. No matter what it is it'll always remind us of our wedding x

    I've got one!

I have the lyrics to half of the chorus of our first dance tattood on my ribs. H is getting the other half when he mans up and stops being a wuss about it!

Im going to get a lyric from our first dance song. Not sure where it will go though, either top of the ribs (on the side) or base of my neck.

We were going to get one on our ring fingers, but 2.5 years after getting married, we still haven't got them done.

people said the same to me too but I just say 'we have kids together so we are going to be in each others lives (if we like it or not) forever and without him I would have the life I have now and all the great things in it'

My friend got her husband's name tattooed on her hip the week before they got married & he saw it for the first time on their wedding day. It's a really sweet tattoo.
