wedding venue

Hi

Has anyone been to a wedding/or was married at Crewe Hall Hotel? Would love to know your opinions. I'm recently engaged and so no knowledge of what i'm meant to be doing.If anyone knows of a great venue - my H2B has a large family so looking like 90 ish at wedding breakfast...100+ at evening do.

    you need to go round a few venues in your area and discuss the options they have for weddings!! Smiley smile Make a few wee days of it and see what they have available, for how many and when they are free. very importantly find out costs as well. and dont sign anything until you have had a good read over it! Some places sound really reasonable, and then charge you for centre pieces, cake stand hire, juice/water on tables and all that kind of thing...so work out very expensive after all!

    Hi

    I've decorated quite a few places in the Crewe area - Crewe Hall is lovely, you can have the long gallery for the wedding breakfast and then one of the more modern rooms in the new bit for the evening.

    For your numbers there is also Hunter's Lodge (good food and nice staff), Wrenbury Hall (lovely large room), Combermere Abbey (lovely grounds and dedicated marquee), - if you go on the Cheshire East's website it gives you all the places in the area you can get married at and their contact details.

    Forgot to add - Wychwood Golf Club and Wychwood Hotel - they are both near Crewe :-)
