Hi, im trying to find the perfect venue to host my wedding. Im not particullaly fussy on location as i have family coming from all over but preferably nearer where i live near swindon. i dont mind travelling up to an hour or so. Im trying to find a place i can have a romantic candlelit wedding. thanks all :-) xx

How many guests are you thinking of having? Did you need accommodation?

Funnily enough cc I was thinking of those two too, although gtb would be better for candlelight, Kingscote is a lot more open and lighter. You can see pics of weddings at these two venues on my site

    http://www.finesseplanning.co.uk/

gtb is last row first page, kingscote is 2nd row 3rd page, What sort of budget were you thinking of if you don't mind me asking, helps to recommend places

I'm also from Swindon and we're getting married at Chiseldon House. It's a gorgeous house in lovely grounds, not to big but nowhere near small.

A friend of mine got married at The Great Tythe Barn last summer and it is lovely, the barn would definatly be romantic by candelight.

    Good luck on your search.

    xx

Thanks guys! Ive looked at gtb before and considered it. it did put me off a little as i felt as though they were taking the mick with the prices of the bar and corkage fees etc, maybe i will have to just get used to that! My budget is about 12-15k all in.
