As you've already booked him I presume that you've seen and like his work, you like him, and know how much he costs - if not it's a bit late now! So hopefully you only need to agree the timings for the day, his start and finish times. Let him know any special shots you'd like. Will speeches be before or after meal, he needs to know so no surprises. Discuss the kind of music you'd like included and make sure he has included music copyright. If it's a church ceremony agree where you (and the vicar) will be comfortable for him to be positioned? Does he need to attend the rehearsal - it's not essential but is a comfort especially if the vicar or the layout is difficult. Ask where he will position microphones. Make sure you know what he is giving you for the price i.e. number of copies, is it fully edited, are highlights included or extra? How long will it take him to finish the DVD for you? Do you have his mobile number in case of any problems on the day?

Finally ask if he will need a meal, better to sort it out now rather than him go hungry and get disgruntled on the day? He'll be impressed that you care and will want to do his vey best for you. (If you don't agree providing a meal see previous threads about it)

I dont think this is going off topic and should still be a help to the poster but Barry you say "know what he is giving you for the price i.e. number of copies" does that mean that they are not allowed to make extra copies for themselfs or are some how prevented form doing so

No I didn't mean that, she just needs to be clear of what is included i.e. no hidden extras.

Have the tog and vog worked together before? Not essential although can be more productive....

I have also worked with some videographers who ask for separate time with the couple. Check on this and ensure that if this is the case that you have allowed enough time for both the stills and the video....
