Wedding websites - help!

slbarber, 4 December, 2013 at 19:07 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hello,

We are making a wedding website on gettingmarried.co.uk - I am wondering whether to give the link to just day guests or evening guests as well, as some of the info won't be relevant to evening guests??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :-)

Many Thanks,

Can you give different people different levels of access?

I'm giving all guest access to my wedding site. They will know from their invites what information is relevant to them and what's not!

we've got loads of extra on site other than wedding info and I wish to share it with everyone.

We also used gettingmarried, and all the guests had access to the whole website, we just made clear differences between the reception & evening x

Are you able to have different tabs for day and evening guests, so all the information is in one place and people click on the tab relevant to them? Great idea doing a personalised website, love, love, love!

    I can see it's free...

What not do 2 different sites and distribute to guests accordingly? Smiley smile

We are doing one with all info etc (H2B is a web developer so he's quite enthusiastic about this part!) and it had crossed my mind about day and eve guests but I decided they will have STD's and invites which tell them if they are day or eve so rather than over complicate it I'll let them use their common sense!
