Wedding weight loss............[help]

AmyLovesPaul, 3 October, 2010 at 14:41 Posted on Planning 0 8

Right ladies,

We all want to lose a bit of weight for the big day!

I made the mistake of ordering my dress in April.....i picked it up two weeks ago and i have put on a few pounds (and then some!) and still have 8 months till the big day, i know Christmas is going to be a struggle!!!

Have been looking on the internet for healthy ways to lose weight without putting it back on......

SO FAR i have found a couple of tips that i did not know:

Drink lots of really cold water as you burn off calories heating it back up....if thats true...and it fills you up. Also Drink lots of Green tea.............!

Does anyone have any other tips for us girls struggling to shift the pounds??

Green tea is really good for you i have one in a morning and one in an evening.. and drinking loads of water deffo!.. I recently started weightwatchers.. not the classes just the food.. Its really yummy and its simple.. the meals for tea time you just shove in the microwave which is good if you work shifts like me cuz the last thing i want to do is start making healthy veg meals ect.. Eggs for breakfast are good too.. and protein shakes.. my aim is:

    Breakfast: scrambled eggs

    mid morning- Protien shake

Lunch- weight watchers salmon and mayo or tuna sweetcorn on rivita, fruit and weightwatchers yoghurts

    Mid aft- Protien shake

Tea- Weightwacthers meal such as lasagne/fish pie.. ect

    supper- protien shake

and you can snack on fruit all day Smiley smile xx

I do Zumba 3 times a week, I started in June and i'm down 2 sizes. I refuse to diet, they are not good for you, nor are they a perm way of keeping the weight off. I just watch what I eat and how I eat it i.e. I eat slow, don't shove it all in like there's a race lol. If i'm having potato, I choose sweet potato, if i'm having a sweet I do so on a sunday. I just watch what i'm doing rather than starve myself or deprive myself of anything or have to follow a menu of this or that and it's working well. I also make sure I have breakfast lunch or dinner. I'm not a breakfast person, never have been so I make myself a fruit smoothie in the mornings.

eat carbs in the morning, and less of them in the evening. regular exercise with a healthy diet is the key. i drink aloe vera gel and itr helped me shift a few lbs with a good diet, as it has fantastic digestive properties. it needs to be as sure aloe as you can get mind you, aloe juice is practically just water.

for exercise you could take up a fitness class, and join with a friend. I go to bodycombat classes, and ther really hard work, but quite enjoyable!

Definitely walking, lots of wating and small(er) meals. You dont need all the carbs that you would usually have with your evening meal. Cut the size down does work and you will feel a difference - not so bloated.

Just eating my normal meals and cut back on the snacks inbetween. Taking the dog for a short walk every evening, just 10 mins. I have lost over two stone and am lighter now then before i had my first baby 8 years ago.

Also swapped full fat coke to diet coke. Smiley smile
