Has anyone used this wedding website company?

I am thinking of paying for a package with them as it includes a personalised paypal gift registry and RSVP tools.
Which is handy as we are asking for donations towards our honeymoon... we can then turn the website into a travel blog for our family and friends to keep up to date... (for those that dont already know, our honeymoon is a year round the world trip.)

I know there are loads of free places but I would rather pay, that way there is a bit more of back up...esp when money will be changing hands.

Any ideas?

    I've never heard of them.

I would also not use them. I hate the idea of putting money straight into someones bank account with out them seeing it. I would put a cheque in the card.

I haven't used them. If you're going to I would check specifically with your insurance company that they cover websites folding - I know when I was looking a couple of them specifically said they didn't.

Following the wrapit fiasco I personally don't trust anything other than Debs/John Lewis for lists!

We're asking our guests to buy Thomas Cook Vouchers if they want to give us a gift, and then we're going to post the photos online.

Because its paypal... i reckon its pretty secure as the money cannot be handled by the website people.

Plus we aren't just asking for money. We will be asking people to buy us an experience.

ie. OH really wants to go shark diving and I really want to go to a Thai spa. So it would look something like this:

Shark diving (brief description) (website link) - £50

Day in Thai Spa for two (brief description) (website link) - £30

It itemises the payments and our thank you cards are going to be postcards from our destination after we have had the experience.

So say Uncle Jim gives us the shark diving; we will send him a postcard from New Zealand telling him all about it and thanking him.

Seems more personal I reckon, but I know a lot of ladies on here object to money requests. We just don't need any crockery ?
