weekend plans?

Off to get my hair cut and coloured on Sat - I can't wait!! Sunday, probably helping my mum do a car boot, while H2B is fishing!

Other than no fixed plans.

Its really too early to answer but i'll be mostly writing lesson plans (bah) and maybe buying me a new (2nd hand) motor!

I have a semi- hen weekend in Newcastle! I call it that becuase my main one is in September in Bournemouth and this weekend is just for the two girls that can't make it! They are still treating it like a full blown hen night though.....which worries me somewhat! I have said no pink, no penises and no stripper but it still worries me!

I'm sure I'll end up pished in Reflex drinking vodka that has been brewed on site around the back of the bar and stirred with a stick (very much like all my Newcastle sojourns of recent times) - making me sick just thinking about it.....?

I am babysitting my parents house and thier cats this weekend as they are off on a businesss trip abroad - I cant wait to see the cats , my landlord wont let me have a kitty - Boo ?

Then off to try on a maggie Sottero dress on Sunday, which is the best thing ever, so excited!

No - now I have hit - ahem - 30 - ahem - the hangovers are dreadful. The thought of being anywhere but my own flat fills me with dread!!!!! But I am sure we'll all be like it! Of course I don't have to drink that much do I????!!!!!!!!

Ooooh - which Maggie are you trying on????

We're off to visit FIL2B to make sure he is OK after his attempt at going on holiday (in brief, he sufferes from depression and panic attacks anyway then he tripped over on the plane and hit his head, had a panic attack and the plane was diverted back to heathrow. He was carted off to the hospital with no ID and very confused so it took 3 days for them to track us down. No airlines would fly him home (he was in heathrow and lives north of Inverness) so we had fun and games getting him home so want to go and check he is OK!!!)

Then I am preparing for H2Bs stag weekend which is the following weekend - he is going away for 4 days and taking the car so I'll be stranded (we live in the middle of no-where) therefore I need to make sure I have enough food/cat food/water etc (our water supply is not drinkable) to last till he gets home!!

Metinks its going to be a surreal weekend!!

Penguin - are you seriously asking me which Maggie I am trying on? ALL OF THEM ?

I have a huge list to try on but my two faves are Sara ( mainly cos its named after me ?) and Phillipa cos its timeless.

I am super duper excited - but Sunday seems so far away - I wish the weekend was here already!

Loobyg - are you ok? This sounds like you had a tough time lately, poor you - I think you deserve a weekend of chilling/slobbing on the sofa to recover. I really hope FIL2B is ok x

I get married next weekend - ?

On Friday I am doing home made burgers for me and H2B (should be dieting but thought I deserved a treat, hehe) and we're just going to stay in and chill really.

On Saturday I have a hen do to go to (not mine!) and we're going to see Dirty Dancing! Wohoo. Then going for a meal and drinks afterwards.

On Sunday I will probably slob around with a hangover ?

On Monday I start a brand new job!!! [nervous icon needed!]

Yeah, I'm fine, H2B is a bit stressed but thats to be expected!! He has a doc appt tomorrow so i'm sure they'll sort him out!

Hair cut tomorrow night, going to see a band on friday night. Saturday - the big event- shopping for my dress with my bm's. So excited ?. Then on sunday, I'm going to my dads for dinner. Its the busiest weekend I've had in weeks!!!

We have friends coming for dinner on Sat, so I'll be cleaning & cooking all day.

Sunday will be spent in John Lewis adding more lovely things to our gift list ?

Getting married on Saturday and probably spending a bit of time with the visiting family before we head off to the airport for our honeymoon on Sunday.

I'm getting a bit excited now!

Friday night I am shopping with my sister in laws to get some bits for the hen night I am having next week with the family (as H2B will be on his next weekend). My main one is Barcelona, 2 weeks from today, yay!

Saturday I have a makeup trial and then going to my H2Bs dads as it is his stepmums bday.

Sunday church to see vicar to organise getting banns read, then final meeting with venue, although we are 6 weeks away so I am sure they will hear from me a bit more before the big day! Then after the meeting we will probably just go home & chill which I am looking forward to, havent done that for ages! xx

Getting sorted for my holiday - still got loads to buy, and trying to rearrange our Wedding holiday for next year, as well as finding a nice hotel for a few nights while we're out there.

Looks like a weekend on the net!!!

Driving down to bournemouth to pick up h2b who has been down there for last 4 wks doing some TEFL teaching, then bringing him back.

I'm going down to north wales to see CBM before she moves to Dubai on thursday. sunday going to OHs for dinner. so desparate to just chill at home!

Going on a girls night out on Saturday and then on Sunday we are going to a Christening SO nothiing wedding related! : (

I have tomorrow off work, but have to go to Debenhams all because of one incompetent assistant.

Remember the lovely dress I wore to a wedding a few weeks ago? Well on the night of the wedding the teeth on the zip broke, and I couldn't get it off! h2b had to force the zip open. WEll took it back to Debenhams (30 mile trip + parking), and they didnt have another my size. So they ordered one from Debenhams direct, made h2b pay over phone for it, and then refunded original +postage. On Tues, I get home from work to find new dress arrived, completely the wrong one! 35 minute phone call to Debenhams, resulted in one now available at store and another 30 mile trip +parking tomorrow in order to exchange this dress. I was seriousle peed off and I will be sending very cross email to Debenhams once it's been sorted.

Anyway, rest of weekend....h2b has work fun day on Saturday, and then we are off on holiday Sunday morning. 3 nights camping in Wales, and 4 nights camping in Devon. Fingers crossed for the rain to stop!

Not quite sure how I will cope without hitched for a week!
