So, what are your plans for the weekend?

Tonight:

*Out for leaving drinks for three colleagues

Tomorrow:

*Collecting sideboard

*Getting hair done

*Last-minute shopping and flat cleaning

Sunday:

*PACKING FOR MY HOLIDAY!

*Heading down to a hotel at Gatwick

*Introducing SB to some old mates from home then an early night as...

SLD, you don't sound very excited about your holiday - are you sure you want to go? ?

I shall be spending my weekend dragging the feathered one away from the window girls in Amsterdam <sigh>

I can't blooming wait to get there though. 4pm is going to come around very slowly, isn't it?

Nothing much for me this weekend, we were having friends over on sunday but they had to cancel ☹️

So chores, baking and freezing mince pies and thats about it.

Have a fabulous 2 weeks in Spain you deserve it after how hard you've been working.

    WSS.

Have an amazing time fizzy pop! ?

I'm meeting Ladelley today in Liverpool (well I will be if she isn't deported) but other than making Christmas cakes, I don't have any other weekend plans.

Have a good weekend one and all. ?

Tonight will be wine and Wossy, who has a fab line up this evening.

Tomorrow, G is off to his Maths class again, so the mother will come up and we'll head into town so she can spend some money on me. She bought me a bag last week, I'm going to hanker for shoes this week ? Tomorrow night is X Factor and takeaway night.

Sunday we're going to my friend's daughter's 2nd birthday party. Wizzy will love it and I get to catch up with some friends, so it should be good.

Today will mostly be spent worrying. My stars said keep your possessions close to you as losing something will make you very, very late. My passport hasn't left my sight since. I'm scared of flying. I'm worried about what to pack - Mrs C usually does this stuff for me. What a gimp. By 10pm tonight though I shall stop worrying and start relaxing. Saturday will be spent resisting being dragged away from the window ladies by Clare M.

HAve a fab time SLD! ?

Tonight - H has man flu ?and will have driven from Birmingham to Glasgow and back so he will have a cob on and want to curl up and sneeze sleep so I shall drink wine and ignore the fact I also have a normal common cold and my sinuses feel like someone is ramming a hot poker up my nose.

Tomorrow, I have to go to the crem as I haven't been able to face it for the last few weeks,☹️ then lunch with the PIL and SIL, then shopping for shoes and bags (whoop whoop) then off to watch WBA at my uncles while he cooks a huge curry for us all.

Sunday - hungover probably then shopping for a tie and shirt for H, and wedding stuff for my friends wedding. Im doing all the crafty stuff and have a table plan and card box left to make. As well as 48 order of the days to put together.

SLD, have a fantastic time, I'm chuffed to bits for you darling. ?

Clare, has anyone warned the Dutch what's about to descend?! ? Have a top time with that clucky bloke.

I'm a bit cross because I've had to cancel a weekend away, because I have to work on sunday. <sob> However, it does mean I get to hang out with a very fantastic musician friend (well, more friend of a friend really) who is in glasgow for a gig tonight. Sooo, we're going for greek food, then he's playing his gig, and then we're going to chill out with drinks afterwards back at the hotel. Tomorrow I'm going to catch up with my folks who will be just back from holiday, probably a fairly quiet dinner with them tomorrow night. Sunday, gah, work. I will also stop buying fags this weekend and crack open my nicorette inhalator.

I am having a wonderful birthday dinner at a divine restaurant with my parents tonight. I shall be spoilt rotten and can't wait for the amazing rare steak I am going to stuff!

The bf might be picking me up from my parents house and will be meeting them for the first time - eeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!! I am sure one of us will cancel though as it's rather scary ?

Tomorrow I will be fighting with my old bag neighbour and then cooking the bf a wonderful veggie meal from lovely Alleroo's recipes ?

Not sure about this evening - it was my flatmate's birthday yesterday so she might want to go out, but I just fancy hitting the gym and then hitting the mattress, really. I'll see how I go.

Tomorrow - gym, shopping, hairdo, then out with workmates tomorrow night. It's the first time I've been out with them so I don't want to get wrecked and embarrass myself. Again, we'll see ?

Aw thanks all ? who would have thought it eh? It's funny as my boss said to me this morning "When was the last time that you took a long holiday SLD?" and I had to respond with "Er actually it was three years ago to this day... and I was on my honeymoon". How times change! ?

? @ the tags (ah but you see Platty, the credit crunch does not affect my holiday as I'm only paying for spending money thanks to free accommodation and SB paying for flights and car rental after I paid for those in Paris - bonus!)

Ooh I forgot to mention that we are going out to dinner tomorrow night too with some old mates of mine... poor old SB, I'm parading him around like a show pony!

? Hope that everyone has heaps of fun - sounds like people have some fabulous stuff going on. And Jess, if you're in Mojacar, then you never know!

Lots of uni work and trying to be creative with my wardrobe to cobble together a few 'smart-casual outfits for my new job which starts on Monday.

Sunday is Mr P's Granny's 90th, and I have to make a cake for that, and we'll go out either tonight or tomorrow, but I know not where or with whom yet.

I only have 1 thing planned for this weekend but I'm REALLY looking forward to it.

I'm going with some friends from work to go and see Sing-a-long-a-Hairspray! I've made a costume to wear, I'm really pleased with it and can't wait. I think it will be such a laugh!

Oh and also it's the Sheffield derby on Sunday so I shall be cheering on the Owls!

I will be taking myself and my camera off on a photography jaunt somewhere as Mr Beast is working nights and will be in bed. I don't know where yet though - any ideas? It needs to be within an hour or so's drive from Wakefield, and ideally have a variety of subjects, ie not all landscapes/urban. I've done York, Leeds city centre, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Barnsley town centre. Was thinking maybe Holmfirth, although that'll be crowded on a weekend I imagine.

I have a thrilling weekend lined up.

Tonight - drive 200 miles to our house - perform checks for mice as we've not been there for a month and the temperature has dropped so they will be looking to come in from the fields.

Tomorrow, get up at some ungodly hour to figure out how you put transmission fluid in the truck, cross fingers it doesn't all just come straight out again and that we can manage to drive the thing the 15 or so miles to the repair place for 8 am!

Go to Lowes to get stuff to repair the 3 foot hole in the bathroom floor that the plumber had to cut to get to the burst pipe, then fix said hole.

Sunday - Assuming truck is fixed, put the snow plough on it, finish winterising the house, drive back to the city.

Are you going on holiday SLD? I had no idea. ?

Tonight I'm going out for dinner and drinks with my neighbour and a friend. I shall wear my gorgeous new grey boots that I accidentally appeared to have bought today.

Tomorrow I'll be cooing over my lovely little nephew. It's his 6 week birthday. ?

Sunday is attic clearing day. I can barely contain the excitement. I think I might go and join a gym as well. My hips are fooked and it's going to be a long while before I'm running again. I don't want to be a fat, unfit knacker.

Tonight I'm going out for a meal with H as it's been a crap week and I hardly seem to have seen him

Tomorrow I'm getting some running shoes in the Sweatshop sale, then we're off to Nottingham for a St Trinian's meet - H is judging the female fancy dress so is going as a judge (the prize is a CD called "Six of the Best"), and I have a headmistress outfit complete with cane - which I'm not afraid to use! Will be staggering around in my 5" patent leather Miss Whiplash boots so will need plenty of alcohol to numb the pain

Sunday we're meeting up with another friend, and on Tuesday our new cleaner starts - woohoo!

Have a great holiday SLD and Mrs Jess, and a fab weekend everyone else
