Weekend plans?

Chicken, 2 May, 2008 at 10:11 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 66

I'm still dog-sitting so not out tonight or tomorrow - will mostly be trying to clear up after British Gas have finished flushing out radiators and installing a new boiler and putting my new bedroom furniture together (hoorah, 10 weeks of waiting and it's finally here).

Sunday I've got QPR's last game of the season - we're playing West Brom who need to beat us to up as champions. Then it's the player of the year do where I'll drink too much wine. I drink too much as I can't speak to my heros sober. Trouble is there's only a 15-30 minute window where I'm drunk enough to be brave but not so drunk that I'm slurring. Or abusing players (sorry Dexter).

Monday I will be reliving the night with full on beer fear. In the garden as I've heard there's a mini heatwave.

Tonight after work I will be packing, then taking h2b to work, then more packing.

Tomorrow we're going to h2b's neice's first holy communion.

Sunday we are packing and moving stuff to the new house.

Monday we have a removal firm moving all the furniture.

Tuesday I am also off work ? but will be moving the last of our stuff and cleaning the old house ☹️

Tonight I have a date with the housework. I want it all done so I can enjoy the weekend.

Tomorrow MrKB, the girls and I are off to Southend to meet up with Ruthann and her family. Really looking forward to catching up with her and the baby.

Sunday if the weather is nice we'll in the garden having a BBQ.

    Monday the same hopefully.

I also plan to cheer up by the end of today. I'm miserable and want to snap out of it.

Well, this weekend I was supposed to be moving into my dad's house oop north as OH and I both start our new jobs up there next week. However he is being a cnut of the highest order and so we've cancelled the van and the removal plans and we're packing a suitcase to go stay at my friends for a week while she's on hols and will try and find somewhere else to live next week.

I fcuking hate families, house moves, job changes, etc etc. 2008 has been really quite shit thus far.

    Cheerful eh?! ?

Tomorrow - getting hair cut and coloured at lunchtime (long overdue). In the afternoon going bowling with MrSC, lodger girl and her boyfriend (building some bridges after the last time he was here which didn't go so well), then back home, Chinese takeaway and a movie.

Sunday - down to Cotswolds, trip to the Falconry Centre, maybe a bit of a walk too time permitting, then check in here, get poshed up, eat dinner in the hotel and wander down to a local pub.

Monday - wedding anniversary day! Give MrSC his present, hoping he is excited by it (British GP tickets) - can't wait! Probably some sort of walk, pretty Cotswold villages, I fancy a cream tea in Bourton on the Water personally and I reckon I can persuade MrSC. Then home.

Have been looking forward to it allllll week. ?

    Absolutely nothing! ?

Going to see what the weather does and go from there. Last bank holiday was spent decorating, so this time we've kept the whole weekend free on purpose.

Probably go to Regents Park tomorrow for a picnic if it's nice.

At some point H will probably drag me to the cinema for Iron Man [V]. Perhaps I can sneak out and see Persepolis. ?

And I will be drowning my sorrows on Sunday if Southampton get relegated. ?

Today: cleaning house and doing the washing. Getting my hair trimmed and then having a Body Shop party.

Tomorrow: working, then telly watching in the evening as I'll be a WoW widow

Sunday: Lie in, then Archery practice in the afternoon.

Though that could all change if 2nd Unofficial Niece decides to arrive early, we have to babysit her big sister when Mum and dad go to the hospital!

I must admit I ignored that. I used to love going to Millwall players lounge after the game and getting very drunk and snogging half of the team. When I get to use the Chelesea tickets from work I have to watch my wine consumption as I forget where I am ?

Tonight - washing and tidying. How can the place be such a mess when I've only been home for 4 nights?

Tomorrow - Maybe a 7 mile run with running club in the morning to see how I get on/how far I can get without having go give up(see Monday). Then brunch with a friend. Then if it's not raining, painting over some graffiti on my exterior wall as it's putting off potential buyers. It doesn't worry me as when i'm inside the house I can't see it LOL

Sunday - going down to sunny Bournemouth for my nephew's first birthday. it'll also be the first time I've seen him. Bad auntie.

Monday - supposedly the Bristol 10K run, but as I@ve not run 10K since middle of January, and haven't run at all for the last month, I'm seriously considering not doing it. I'll see if I go out on Saturday/see how I get on then.

Just try to behave this year!! ?

I'm out tonight (I think i'd rather go swimming with sharks though) then tomorrow we've got our new floor being laid - hurrah!! On Sunday I'll be sitting at home waiting for my new sofa to arrive and biting my nails waiting for the football results because for some reason I actually seem to care.

Partying the next 3 nights and sleeping it off by day.

Chook, did I read that right?? You're partying with QPR players at their PoTY dinner?! ?

BTW, I remember your fear from last year's dinner. ? I didn't know whether to hug you or send you a 'lou special' hangover survivial pack (irn bru, a slice roll and a time-machine/ memory eraser). ?

I'll try Clare! ? I'm just catching up on yesterday's emails. I'm happy to work round you lot. As always just say when and where!

Championship is exciting this season! I'm pretty glad we're mid-table with nothing to play for. My nerves wouldn't cope with much else.

Thought Chook was finally over her bear phobia??

Chook what did you finally decide to wear?

Tonight, zippo as MrPod is working tomorrow and I have offered to drop him (at 6:15?)

Tomorrow, Kingston shopping too. Wonks, I will be there at sparrow fart if you want a coffee? MrPod is working so I need to get back to the dog. Out for dinner in the evening.

Sunday. Rugby, beer, dinner, wine, beer.

Monday, hangover and cooking duties again.

YES LOU! ? I'm like, well excited! Last year's 'bear' fear was quite horrific. I'm going to be refined this year.

Podski - I have a turquoise outfit. I can't show you a pic as it's not on the website anymore. Ooh, I have it in the office for show and tell today - will take a pic of me in the work loos and mail you.

Bear fear ? You get a lot of bears at QPR dinners don't you know.

We'll be in Kingston early too - give me a call when you're there and if we're around then we can have a coffee.

Tonight - My cousin's 40th birthday party. We've all been told to wear jeans as that's what she's wearing and we're not allowed to be better dressed than she is.

Saturday - I might pop into town for some retail therapy. I also need to go food shopping.

Sunday - making dinner for my parents and sister for the first time. I'm scared.

Monday - pottering about on the holiday while Mr W is at work.

Oooh, Chicken, going for drinks and dancing with QPR bears? How exciting.

I shall mostly be all by myself this weekend (well, self and baybehs). Young master A is off to Cub Camp today, so I'll probably spend a bit of time fretting that he'll fall off a mountain/get eaten by a wild animal or something.

Tonight, Mr A is off to his football club AGM, then tomorrow his team is playing in a cup final, so he'll be at that doing the announcemments, then he's off out with them to celebrate the end of the season. I expect there'll be the traditional getting snattered drnk, coming in at stoopid o'clock singing football songs and demanding a blow job.

I usually go out with my mum, but she's doing some hideous line-dancing charity marathon.

Sunday, we're cordially invited to SIL's house for nephew's b.day. Lovely.

Mr A is working on Monday.

The weather is supposed to be **** all weekend as well, so can't even sit out in garden.
