How long saracroft? was that a year? It will fly by, x

As for the weekend we are going to our venue tonight for a free dinner, we have had a few problems with them and this is their way of apologising, which is fine by me because the food is to die for!

Saturday we are meeting up with friends for lunch and a couple of beverages and then on Sunday we are going to church and then my daughter is coming over to cut and colour my hair. xx

Friday: It's take-away day! wooooop! We have been good ALL week, so we're treating ourselves to a DVD and a takeaway tonight. (Any DVD recommendations?)

Saturday: Rob has to "tinker" with the car - oh the joys of having a 22 year old car! And I shall be cleaning, gardening and baking for our picnic on Sunday.

Sunday: We're going to a VW show with Littleflowers and family. We shall be taking a yummy picnic consisting of homemade scones, door-step sandwiches, fresh strawberries and maybe a bottle of elderflower presse.

    ? for Sara

    ? for Fiona

? for the hitchers getting wed this weekend

Tonight: Gym. I haven't been all week as today is the first day I've not ached from last weekend's activities.

Tomorrow: Hair colour and final hair trial, BM having hers done too. Then a load of errands to run, mostly wedding related. Horse-riding in the afternoon too.

Sunday: Nothing planned, but have some things like favours to finish off and silly bits like take labels off vases and shoes. May also start making the thank you cards for BMs and Ushers.

Fairly quiet one for me, but I think we need it after last weekend's hen and stag!

I can't get a bouncy man to work for some reason....

Anyhow, my weekend looks something like:

Friday - OH is at home this morning waiting for a furniture delivery. This will be our third cabinet, the first one was delivered and then when we opened it found it was damaged. The second one came and yet again it was damaged. We've now got another one coming, which we've had to wait 6 weeks for. It better be bloody right this time else there'll be hell to pay. Tonight is our takeaway night too so will chill out with that and then hopefully start filling up the new cabinet!

Saturday - going to discuss the cake with the cake people and then we're going shopping for OH's wedding ring and an outfit for me to wear on my hen weekend next week!

Sunday - we're taking mum out to try and find her a hat or fascinator to go with her outfit. She has said she'll treat us to some lunch as well.

Hi ladies and any male species who may be lurking,

"I've got my shoes and am ready for the w-end".

Tonight I'm home alone cos h2b is going to a freebie corporate rugby do, so as soon as madam is in bed I'm getting the vino out and watching a film.

Tomorrow we have a 30th party (I feel old) and Sunday we're going a curry with some friends for a b.day and then having cocktails back at theirs.

    Whoop whoop.

Tonight is going to be a quiet night in - we went out last night and I'm feeling somewhat...fragile...today!

Tomorrow: buy a few bits & pieces for the house. write place cards. tablet making experiment. go for dinner with friends. go to gig.

Sunday: sort out the garden (badly needs doing before my little niece comes to visit and wants to play in it!)

? For all the lovely hitchers!

Tonight is "Tequila Friday", need to track down a bar that stocks the lovely Patron as our local is shut boo hoo (It's not as rock and roll as it sounds - Patron is a tequila that is served chilled and sipped - none of this shot malarky - I'm 35 waaay too old to do that sort of thing!)

    Meeting friends afterwards for dinner

Going to gym tomorrow and then over to my best friends place to meet up with her and the other one and to plan and get very excited about the Rewind Festival which is happening for my hen do next weekend ???

Sunday, sleep off hangover and then go shopping to buy more 80's attire for the hen weekend!

We went to h2b's cousins' (brother and sister) weddings last year, they were a couple of months apart but both so different that you couldn;t really compare the two. I'm sure this will be the case here too. Hope you (and your sister) have a fantastic day,

I've wanted to go there as well! I can't believe you mentioned it - that place was also reviewed in the London Lite last night. I really wanted to do the candles workshop as I want to make them for my tables....

also wanted to do the cupcake (but thought I could follow instructions online for that) and Jewelry - but couldn't decide!

If any of you go up next time give me a shout I've got noon to go with ☹️

Also Craft Guerilla have a bi-monthly craft night there - next one is in Sep http://www.themakelounge.com/workshops/detail/194 - I am trying to round up people to go. I used to go to a Craft Guerilla night in Walthamstow but they scrapped it as the venue closed down.
