Weekly Good / Bad thread!

I've had a pretty good week, was my birthday Monday so an excellent start

Good: Was my birthday Monday and had a great day

Good: Had lunch with a good old friend (in years not age lol)

Good: My reception dress arrived

Good: The sun is shining

Good: We're seeing friends on Saturday and OH's mum on Sunday

Good: Today is a better day than yesterday

Good: So ready for a weekend, and lots of wine tonight

Good: 100 days today - OH MY GOSH.

Bad: It's been a WEEK and am pretty tearful/exhausted

Bad: I'm stressing about the stuff I still have to get done

Good: Going to finalise the flowers tomorrow.

Good: Meeting the photographer tomorrow to run through the day.

Good: The last of my bridesmaid's is getting her dress after the alterations.

Good: One of my bridesmaids is throwing a party for us, will be last big get together with b/maids/best man/ ushers before the day.

Good: The wedding is all paid for after the florist visit.

Bad: My bank balance looks pathetic !!

Bad - I put 1.5 Ibs on at Weight Watchers this week and I had been so good. Hoping that it is because it is the time of the month. I have still lost just over a stone in 10 weeks though so not all bad.

Bad - The candles I have ordered for the favours have not turned up and the company are being less than helpful.

Good - I am going to my volunteer job tomorrow. I love working in the bridal shop and helping the brides with the dresses. It is so nice when they find the one.

Good - I have my brother and his future wife are coming Sunday and we are all going out and then having Dinner at our house.

Good - Monday the children go back to school. I am going to help out in the school, hopefully this will lead to me become a Teaching Assistant. Or even encourage me to go back to uni to become a teacher.

GOOD; my hubbys at home today

GOOD: my hubbys out tonight and I can clean house and watch Gene Hunt

BAD: Back to work on Monday

GOOD: I've just been to a healthclinic and found out some verrrrrrrrrrrrrry interesting things (and be amazed)

BAD: it cost a lot of money to go....

GOOD: Suns shining

BAD: I'm allergic to sun so no running about uncovered, for me...got to get me some special sun lotion!

Good: 1st Dress Apointment booked

Good: Going to see a tog tomorrow about ideas etc

Good: The sun is shining and it's gorgeous ?

Good: T minus 11 minutes to go until hometime

Good: Reception balance is paid over a year in advance ?

GREAT: Had my Honeymoon holidays approved at work (I work in a School and need some time off in Term)

Pretty good week, and hopefully an amazing weekend to finish it all off nicely!

Good - Venue viewing tomorrow yippee!

Bad - We haven't got enough money for deposits at the moment so we'll just have to hope no-one else books "our" date!

Good - I can start wedding planning this Summer!

Bad - We've ran out of dandelions for the Guinea Pigs and they keep weeking for them!!

Good - My lovely driving teacher bought me Cosmopolitan magazine ?

Bad: my afternoon off whizzed by in flash of urgent work phonecalls

Good: H2B is leaving work a bit earlier so I get a cuddle soon!

Good: I lost 2.5lbs at ww yesterday so am very pleased

Good: Wedding fayre at my venue tomorrow, so can see it all dressed up

Good: Trip to London on Sunday for massive meal with H2Bs family (uncle and aunt over from Oz)

Neither/nor: My boss should be flying back from his holiday in US today, but I think the ash cloud may prevent that, so he prob wont be back at work on Monday! He's been emailing me all afternoon saying its a sign he should stay out there, and that he's sure I can cope on my own (there's only 2 of us in the dept) from now on and pretend he's there!

Good: 1/2 day at work, I'm already out the back with a glass of pimms

Bad: Sun glaring off laptop screen, must remember to "borrow" a VDU screen cover from work....

Good: No fixed plans all weekend so i can just reeeeelax aaaaaaah!

Bad: Was meant to be at Ayr races 2mw for Scottish National till H2B took new shift pattern and couldn't get the day off

Good: Have prob saved a fortune in duff bets ( i pick the jockeys with the nicest jumpers....)

Good - it's a beautiful day.

Bad - I'm inside working whilst my fellow colleagues have all gone out to play.

Bad - cricket season starts tomorrow and that means H2B is out virtually every Saturday and Sunday now until September.

Good - I get lots more time to myself to plan things, enjoy the sun and drink wine with my female friends.

Good - had a fab class this morning and can feel that really nice muscle ache already. Bought some new sports bras this morning so looking forward to going out for a run in one of them (and some other clothes, obviously) later on.

LOL!!! my neighbours garden has enough to keep them going for years....... (much to H2B's disgust)

Haaa! I may have to go and do some digging in the park!

Twinnie - is it really 100 days today?! Eeek! Oh and hug for you - sounds like you need one, hope all is okay? ? Maybe I'm a bit behind with the threads.

GOOD: My working week finishes in 10 mins thank god, this one has D R A G G E D ?

GOOD: Going out for tapas tonight with my husband-to-be!

GOOD: Catching up with a friend tomorrow night over a lot of alcohol, should be nice and girly

GOOD: We're getting lots of RSVPs back, we've had 12 already and invites have only been gone about 2 weeks max!

GOOD: Weight loss is going pretty well, have lost 12lbs since Xmas and a pair of jeans I have are pretty loose

GOOD: Got my veil material colour samples this week so am going to compare them to my dress and then order it

BAD: Found out I have to have 5 jabs for Kenya! 1 for typhoid, 1 for yellow fever, a course of 3 for Hepatitis A and B, and then a course of malaria tabs!

BAD: Bank account is completely dry

BAD: I think I'm getting a cold

This week has been loooooooong.

GOOD: OH is out tonight

GOOD: OH is out tomorrow at Spurs

I would like to make it clear at this point that I don't hate my OH, I just love my peace and quiet!

GOOD: It's my CBM's youngest son's 1st birthday party on Sunday

GOOD: 6 weeks today until the wedding and I confirmed final numbers this afternoon

BAD: We've had some very sad family news and I'm now not sure whether some of my family will make it over from Canada for the wedding (they were all booked to come)

BAD: I have a ton of chair covers to iron and I hate ironing.

Good It's only 10 more sleep's till our holiday to Cuba

Bad Have to take our dog to the vet's tomorrow, she hasn't been well since she came back from my mum's last weekend, I think Mum may have fed her something she shouldn't have done!

Bad Working the night shift tomorrow

Good Only 3 more shift's till my holiday, YAY!!!

Good Have a good friend coming for dinner on Sunday night.

GOOD - its sunny!!

GOOD - evn though Im working tomorrow its only till 1pm and I have some lovely colleauges, just meand OH will need to find sometihng to keep him occupied lol

BAD - had an awful week with panic attacks

BAD computer system was crashing non stop at work ao i couldn't get everything i wanted to get done finished!!!

Good: had day off work today

Bad: had to go in to work to sort some stuff out - PC equipment not arrived

Bad; received notification of a wind turbine 20 yards (literally) from back garden of house

Good: raring to go with petition and objecting against this wind turbine - good and positive feedback - am ready to take on the applicant and do some fighting!!!

Good: OH out tonight, o sbottle of vino, chill out and watch lost

Good: hair cut and highlights tomorrow!

GOOD - finally exchanged contracts on our first house and completing next Friday

BAD - Got lots of packing to do lol

GOOD - Am going to look at a wedding car tomorrow

GOOD - My best friend is getting married tomorrow

BAD - My parents were suppposed to flying to Crete yesterday

Good: My father in law has said his paying for our honeymoon

Good: I'm now off for the weekend

Good/Bad: Laptop had a trojan from the mori lee site, but luckily it's been cleared

Good: Another 500 saved towards our big day

Good: Best of all, we got conifrmation of our venue! :-D

Overall not a bad week apart from a load of passengers at work giving me grief.

Good - Just seen the florist soooo am a bit excited!!

Good - Going for lunch with one of my bridesmaids tomorrow.

Bad - H2b is away tomorrow for a week with work thats if the ash clears up, however its bad both ways, cos if he doesnt go less money, if he does i will be worrying about the flight!

Bad - I Really need to clean my house!!!

Good - It's sunny

Bad - I've not left the house to see the sun

Bad - Dissertation is killing me!

Bad -I've got work in 15 mins

Bad - Constantly eating healthy food and I really want a Chinese and some wine!

Good - I have a caramel egg

Bad - I can't eat the egg until I've finished my dissertation and i've been looking at it all week [:'(]

GOOD: I had a fab hair trial

BAD: Easter holidays are over

BAD: Major inlaw problems

GOOD: i passed my skills test for my PCGE today

Bad I'm working nights all weekend!

Good Met a potential florist who is lovely and v good

Good Booked a an appointment to try on dresses on mon

Bad Fiance is off all weekend and has gone away to visit his parents!

Hello lovely! No idea about DWC, she was on HPAD but disappeared a while ago.

GOOD: It's gloriously sunny and I've had the chance to spend the day with my Mum (well, in a half awake state)! And I get my parents all to myself over the weekend, with no rowdy siblings around!

BAD: I'm exhausted having had lots of drama due to leaving my passport four hours away, having to go get it and then getting caught up in the volcano debacle!

GOOD: I made it home eventually only 12 hours late, albeit knackered and grumpy after a night on the sleeper (a REAL adventure).

GOOD: Hair and makeup trials are later. Finalising details with venue and photographer this weekend. It's all go go go!

BAD: Spent from 12pm to 10pm in the pub waiting for planes/trains to be sorted out. Being hungover and tired are not a good mix.

BAD: Some people have still not RSVP'd and I'm supposed to be confirming final numbers on Sunday. Grrrrrrrr.

Bethan - sorry to hear that you've had bad news and that some guests can't make it now. That's really rubbish.

Good: it's the weekend

Bad: I got home later than OH and he's gone straight to bed sick and I am a little tiddled after 'quick' work drink (feel v guilty now)

Good ; Nothing really planned this weekend

Bad: got an answer from my BF about being a CBM. it was a no but at least I know. She's suffering/suffered from Postnatal depression and i feel like I've been a bad friend not being there for her.

Good: the sun is going to come out tomorrow

Good: one way or another i'm getting married and all the flowers and stuff is just optional really and not worth getting het up about
