Weight watchers core plan and pregnant!?

Chocolate Button, 28 June, 2008 at 13:34 Posted on Beauty & Wellbeing 0 3

was wondering if I could carry on dieting in this early stage of my pregnancy when I'm not so likely to be piling on the baby weight(again) -I'm so nervous of gaining too much weight after rcently learning how to loose weight! Bit of a mentality shift gonna have to happen!
I was wondering how/if I could do core through my pregnancy - core isn't that restrictive - just a healthy balanced eating plan, so how can i do core but get the nutrients and 300 extra cals I need? . . . . . . . . . .
I've lost 1 1/2 dress sizes 3 cup sizes and 2 inches off my bust. I've lost one and a half stones!!!!

the website is wrong (we have asked them to update) the new guidance is ww should not be followed at all when you are pregnant, if you are concerned about your weight then best to speak to the doctor. however following the principal of core shouldnt hurt but i would swap skimmed milk for semi at least and perhaps try to include more dairy.

You;ve done a fab job if you;ve al;ready lost weight. If you are very worried abotu putting on lots of weight then go and speak to your doctor. But when you eat you'll be making positive choices for your baby. Keep lots of snacky healthy thigns in (i found grapes and chopped melon were my favourite for picking on and stamping out some of the nausea)
