Got engaged on Monday (H2Bs birthday) and we're getting married November 3rd this year. I've been super organised as I'm off work atm with a broken foot, but looking forward to getting some tips off people on here who are all so much further along with their planning!

Can we add a couple of "rules" to this list?

First, that if you start a thread always come back and reply, even if its just to say thank you. Its rude otherwise!

Second, if you write a post please don't later go back and change it. It is confusing and rude, especially if you have started an argument somehow and then change your original post. Say what you mean or don't say it at all.

Last, if you don't like the answer don't ask the question.

I am much fed up of these things at the moment.

Hello everyone, just wanted to say hi and thanks for everyone's input to this forum! I've been reading loads of the old threads in the last few weeks (since he started asking what size ring I wear ?) and picking up lots of useful tips and ideas already. Thanks too to those who responded to my question recently about shoes/photographs and me being taller than my OH... ?

We haven't settled on a date yet, but I think we'll be doing the deed quite quickly, so I will no doubt be posting all sorts of questions and counting on your collective wisdom and experience to get us through!!

I have been engaged since march this year and our wedding is all booked for June 2014. We have book the church and the reception and chosen the bridesmaids, best man and usher!

Its so exciting but there's so much too do, I'm so glad I have quite a while to plan ?

After nearly 13 years of being together and having one daughter and various other major events in our lifes OH finally popped the question on 23rd December 2011! So a very short engagement! Well I've been waiting long enough lol!!

Am actually quite relaxed and stress free at the moment but I'm sure give it time!!!

Me and Lee got engaged in 2011, the engagement was a big suprise and yes... i cried for a long time because i was so excited - i am a bit of a crier [:'(] after a few wedding conversations we have a bit of an idea what we want but we are both rubbish at making decisions so its going to be tough to stick to one decision... our colours change every day haha. we would like to be married autumn / winter 2013 (finances allowing).
