Went to our daughter's venue yesterday and look who we met!

Awww, the venue looks wonderful and I've always had a thing for donkeys ... they look so sad I always want to give one a hug. You never know .. maybe the wedding will make one smile?

Ha ha Carol - I know what you mean about the snow! It probably will be snowing up there but at least most of the guests are staying the night before or live fairly close in Meltham, Golcar, etc so they only have a short journey albeit a fairly steep one from Holmfirth upwards!! The Manager did say that they have only ever had to close once and that was this year when they were cut off for a week! The donkeys will be great for the kids and the soppy adults like me and my daughter who are donkey lovers obsessed!

They did get a big hug off me yesterday! The lady who was feeding them asked if I wanted to give them some carrots myself but I didn't fancy being slobbered all over!
