Went to see Slepe Hall

Debs12xx, 21 October, 2012 at 18:29 Posted on Planning 0 11

Well we went, and I am beginning to wish we hadn't now and just stcuk tot he football club because I love it BUT our date has been provisionally booked by someone else and they won't know until the end of the week if they want it or not so nor will we. We can however have the 12th October which is a week later than our orginal date. I wasn't really expecting much from the venue, it looked ok on the website but the room we are using is lovely! Nothing like on the website and the hotel itself is really nice. We stopped and had our dinner there too and the food was really good. So, if we have to move the date to the 12th I will only have lost 50 quid that I paid for my save the dates I suppose!

I may have missed something but why did you order Save the Dates before the venue was booked?

    Slepe Hall looks very nice.

Well we were going to go for the football club, that's what we had decided on and the date was then booked with the church but now we have seen this...anyway, if we don't get the 5th its only the STD's we lose out on.

Yeah it's not too bad. I might even make my own save the dates next time. I do like the vista ones but I am thinking about making the std's to match my invites. We'll see!

I knew someone on here had mentioned it on here Emma, it was you so thank you!! It's really lovely, nothing over the top just nice and the room is so nice, I wasn't sold on the website pics but it's been decorated since then and is really neutral, and massive with built in mood lighting! x
