Beginner October 2014

We're married !!! What an amazing day.

Well ,we've been married for 9 days now and I can still remember it all like it was yesterday. We had a fab day , even the sun shone which for October wasn't expected. I can honestly say there isn't anything I would change about the day , there were a couple of small hiccups but nothing that could have spoilt the day. I'm a very emotional person and even managed to get through the day without crying ! This came the day after when we left the hotel , when I cried , and then in the afternoon when we sat and opened all our cards and gifts. Cried through most of this ! Lol. Had a lovely few days away in Windermere last week , weather not great there but I would rather take the sunshine on the day and do without on the honeymoon ! Anyway , not sure I'll be doing a big report or anything but just wanted to add a few pics for you all.

To all those looking forward to their weddings , good luck with the planning and just remember it will all come right on the day , and enjoy !

Congratulations on your wedding! ? You got some fantastic weather, I'm hoping for the same next autumn.

I hope you dont mind but just wondered if you would tell me a little about how the venue was and if you were happy. I am hopefully going to book to get married there next year but can't find any reviews as its not registered on hitched. I went to the wedding fair today and am a little concerned the room isnt big enough to seat my 100 day guests.

Everything seems so confusing at the minute, i dont really know where to start ?

Hi , thank you , we had a fab day :-) The venue is lovely , the food is gorgeous and everyone was very helpful. I've recently reviewed it on Trip Advisor. We had just under 60 for our day do and it was quite spacious. We had top table and then 7 tables. They said these can seat up to 10 although we didn't have that many on each. So guess you would just need another 3 tables in the room. But I'm sure there would be room. Did you speak to Chris when you went to the Wedding Fair ? He was the main contact and organiser for us and was brilliant. If you're thinking of booking then I'd recommend making an appointment and going to see him. You could then ask the question about seating 100. I'm sure they've done plenty before. I would definitely recommend the venue , not too big so exclusive use but not with the 'exclusive use' price tag you can get with some venues. Let me know how you get on. Not on here much now , trying to wean myself off ! Lol. But do still get notifications through :-)
