I'm a little bit too organised! We've booked the church, reception venue, car, TOG, VOG, DJ, caricaturist, and I think I *may* have found my dress! It's all very exciting ?

I've tried to hold myself back a bit at the moment and just taking it step by step. When did you start looking for dresses? I was thinking it was too early to go but am going to try some on for the first time this Saturday - exciting!!!!!

I'm another 2014 bride. 24th May for me. We've booked, the church, reception venues, TOG, cars, guest transport, catering, sent out save the dates, bought my dress. Going on the hunt for BM dresses in the January sales, will be ordering my veil soon and hopefully get all the boys together to book suits. Next is DJ, sweety buffet, centrepieces and invitations.

I started planning the day I joined Hitched, so 24th April this year. I Googled a wedding to do list and Hitched popped up and now I just can't stay away

I'm getting married in a church, but I' not Catholic, so just a regular Church of England one.

our date is may 14th so just a little before yours.

We got engaged in february, had a engagement party in april and then started going overdrive on planning. I'm pretty sure we've made all the big decisions in our heads and I was doing so much research my ipad is full of websites to revisit to book things like makeup, photographers, flowers etc. We have also booked our venue and reserved our date with the registrar, I have bought a silk flower bouquet and posy for my moh and bought 10 little basketlike candle holders for our centepieces as saw them and loved them. also i have made our save the date magnets but not sending them out until after christmas.

Once we booked the venue a couple of months ago everything just kind of stalled and suddenly months have passed, we both have a week off soon and plan to start up again, things like catering, photographers, cake. It's weird one moment it's all consuming then it all fizzles out for a while. I guess that's our fortune of having some much time to plan.

there's one thing i know for sure.... I'm not going to start even attempting to try on dresses until may next year.... The amount I read about dress wobbles I really dont want to change my mind and figure one year is still plenty of time to find the one. plus if i try the dress on in may that will be my typical ''may size" as in 5 months after xmas, few weeks after easter haha!!!

Hi date tw... triplets!

we have made some decisions, going to look at venues later this year or beginning of next, just requesting brochures from local places to get a list together! i think ive chosen my dress, but its a LITB and i want to go and try some on first to make sure its the one i want!

my ring is proving difficult though. have seen one at 450 but thats way over the budget my OH had in mind for a ring! and i cant find anything i like as much anywhere ☹️

youre right with dresses, not even gonna try on til next year, then ill decide, but i am looking forward to chatting about it all ladies! it will fly, theres just so much to do!

Hiya! 2014 bride here also! Getting married on 21st March!

I've tried to book the main things now so i dont turn into bridezilla next year, booked venue, photographer, flowers, and most importantly my make up and hair! Found that booking now got me this years price especially for the photographer and makeup/hair.

Wasn't going to look for dresses until next year but i have had enough of looking at the photos on the websites and i want to try them on, so i have my first appointment Saturday, so excited!!!!!!!!
