What am I going to be like on the big day?!!

Mrs Bass, 3 August, 2010 at 18:40 Posted on Planning 0 8

I just got home from work and got excited as our ceremony options booklet had arrived from the registry office!!!!!

i ripped it open and once i had worked out what all the bits of paper were and what i had to do, i started reading the options for wording and vows and imagined saying them on the day and before I knew it, i was in tears!!!!

imagine what im going to be like on the day, bursting with excitement and facing my OH saying the words! im going to be a wreck!!

might have to practice a few times!

There's no shame in being sensitive. I mean not everybody can be like stone... and I'm sure this is one thing they love you for! Smiley smile don't worry, it'll be ok. Just do your best Smiley smile

I'm sure it will be fine - loads of people cry at weddings..

There is one on YouTube where the vicar stops the service to say to the conregation "She does want to do this, they are tears of joy"...

    Thanks guys!

i do find myself crying quite easily at TV programmes at sad things but not so much "tears of happiness" i thought it anything happened I would have a giggling fit!

i think i'll have to practice, and take my mind off things in the morn! as well as investing in a decent waterproof mascara and make sure there is a decent supply of tissues!!

I wouldn't worry. You are allowed to cry at a wedding.

When my dad read his speech at the end it was so sentimental, he had half the room crying.
