Exactly this Smiley smile When I took Ant to Toronto for the first time we went to Smoke's Poutinerie and he was hooked. For the next few months he would ask me to make poutine almost every weekend. Soooo bad, but delicious. It was Ant who requested it for the evening buffet. We're having it served with a selection of shaved meets as well and calling it a 'Sunday roast poutine' to combine the best of British and Canadian ?

I pinned a photo of a sterno smores bar on pinterest, and I've seen it going around the wedding boards again. Apparently it effects the taste of the marshmallow, though.

Haha Smokes is where I took my guy as well. Although also once to a food truck, as its more traditional

I have seen those S'mores ideas but they still wanted us to have someone to look after it. But Im glad to hear (well glad to know!) they effect the taste as were were going to try it another time

^ This. I had a huge shopping list with fishbowls and lanterns and birdcages and bunting etc and an eye popping deco £total because I got carried away with the ideas I saw in magazines and stuff, which I then realised is not really me at all and I would never even think of those things if I hadn't seen it is the done thing. So now OH and I have whittled down the deco budget because we'd rather spend it on booze haha.

The most unusual thing I'm doing (I know it isn't unique) is origami flowers for the tables, possibly even my bouquet but depends how much I can be bothered.

Nothing really. We didn't want any frills or anything too 'out there'. Only thing I can think of is that the service was half Danish and half English but that was out of necessity more than anything else!

Ooh actually, our invitations were quite unique.

I once made the schoolboy error of thinking that our wedding was going to be 'unique'- I soon got shouted down by those wiser than myself and told in no uncertain terms that there is no such thing as an original wedding. And, do you know what? It's true.
