What are you coveting?

Storky, 1 March, 2012 at 11:28 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 20

I have a birthday coming up this month and my family have started to ask me what I'd like. I can't think of anything and they won't take no for an answer.

Is there anything that you're coveting at the moment? I'm hoping you might be able to inspire me. Pretty pictures welcome!

Nope. I asked for money for my birthday so I could afford to service my car. Joy!

Same here Cricks (11 days time) and H keeps asking me what i want! I dont know what i "want" or "need" so will keep my eye on this thread.

I am more interested in H's birthday in June this year when he will be the big 40!!!

It's my birthday this month too!! H is despairing of me because he keeps asking what i want and i don't want anything or really need anything. I gave him a couple of suggestions of perfume and a shopping trip if he was up for that. So long as i get a card, i'm happy.

It's tough, isn't it? Glad it's not just me.

I really don't want to ask for money but I can't seem to come up with a list of things. Hmphf.

Amazon's universal wishlist is great for this. If I see something I like, on whatever site, I push the button on my browser to add it to my wish list!

A wishlist at Amazon, but you can add anything from anywhere to it. Friends and family can find your wish list by popping in your email. Or you can direct them to it like I did at Xmas (when they asked)!

Pain trying to think of stuff isn't it! And I notice as i get older the stuff gets more and more boring!! I try to keep a bit of a wish list note on my phone so whenever I think of something I add it. Currently I have GHD's, new laptop, wii zumba, steamer, new lightweight suitcases for honeymoon.

I really want a Mulberry Antony messenger in oak. It looks really 'useable.' In comparison to my Alexa anyway, which is a bit of a faff to get into. But beautiful so I shall not compain.

I also want to buy Dermalogica pre-cleanse and daily resurfacer. But can't really justify the price tag, especially when all my currect clinique stuff is also pricey and works just fine. Must stop reading reviews on Make-up alley...

It's really good. You can set up different lists as well if you want to. I have a separate one for photography gear, in case anyone has a heart attack looking at the prices!

I would just like to point out that if any of you are really struggling with ideas for your wishlist, feel free to direct people to mine instead!

You could ask for vouchers for your fav store instead of money...that way when you do need something you can get it! They normally last at least 6 months don't they, if not a year?

for me it is normally perfume or an item of clothing/footwear!

I have got the Liz Earle set from my parents for my bday this year!

I have to wait until next month for my birthday but I would like - some new GHDs and the matching hairdrier, some more Chanel perfume, a bracelet (or any other number of item) from Tiffany. With the last being highest on my wish list.

Our local jewellers also does a gift list service for women to choose as they please and men to come in and pay for it, so I am going to pop in and register this weekend. ?
