What are you having on your tables?

NikiST, 27 May, 2011 at 12:06 Posted on Planning 0 14

Not talking about centrepieces.. I'm talking other stuff.. besides silverware and napkins.

H2B decided he wanted posh poppers and bubbles for each guest. I have accomodated these but I really wanted some fun stuff for the table. I know some of you are having trivia? Flash me if you feel the need Smiley winking

    Nothing else...

With the centrepieces, table names, placecards, cutlery, plates, butter dishes, S&P pots, glasses, kids boxes, wine coolers, bottles, favours ... there wasn't any more room!!!!!!!

    Blimey!

We're having bubbles for each guest, a box of table trivia for each table and a sweepstake kit.

Basically each table can make a bet on how long the speeches will last - it's mostly poking fun at me and the BM as well talk a lot.

I'm pretty much having on my tables what Mrs C said as well.

    Ooooh! That sounds fun!

And yes, my H2B actually decided on an impromptu trip to Hobbycraft that he wanted some posh poppers and bubbles for each guest. I wasn't going to.. I guess the bubbles make sense as it is an outside wedding.. I was thinking of the trivia thing.. but not entirely sure about that yet. I may do a "Who Knows The Bride & Groom Best?" quiz for each guest with a bottle of champers as a prize.

Along with all the other normal 'stuff', we're having small ceramic heart shaped tea lights, some table trivia, 1 disposible camera per table, guest book cards (poss may leave these on the coffee table in the entrance to the marquee tho), the favours... think thats it?!

Haha.. I LOVE this idea! Such good fun! I attempted modelling balloons once and it was good fun albeit a little tricky! Might be a bit noisy though... lol
