As the title says I'd just like to know what everyone is having as their theme and colour scheme. x

Im not certain yet, but I want to have a vintage kind of theme, like 30's/40's, so will have white as the main colour with black and a plumy red details, so red lipstick and red louboutins and the like. but then again I may change my mind! ?

We are having sage green and ivory

We are using our VW campervan as transport, so want to include a slight retro theme which so far is retro sweets for favours. OH is a surfer, so we are naming the tables after surf beaches and using postcards of these for this.

So I suppose we dont actually have a set theme, but hoping it all ties together well!

    Hi,

We are pretty much going for the classic "white wedding" ? ?

But I want to give it a softer, romantic and sort of dreamy twist so I'm looking to incorporate lots of golds, champagnes, and some peach and apricot colours to give it a hint of a summer as we're getting married in July.

You don't necessarily need to even think of a theme or specific colour scheme as such - I know a lot of Hitchers have just bought what they liked and the colour scheme has sort of taken care of itself!

We are sage green and ivory too! Not sure about the theme yet or what we are going to call the tables! OH wants football grounds ? but not sure about that....At the moment the favours are Macmillan charity pin badges as they were really good when my dad was poorly. (And they happen to be green!)

Depending on venue, our themes are as follows...

Big top (yellow and white striped) - A fun fair theme with lots of colours...

Canvas Marquee / Barn - White, Muted Pinks, yellow and Robin's egg blue...

It might be twee as ****, but we like it!

Our colours are orange, brown and ivory with lots of circles, spheres and domes eg. oranges used in the cake and centerpieces, dome shaped bouquets, orange and ivory paper lanterns hoping for a suttle 60's/70's kinda theme without (hopefully) it looking like a night out in flares......................although we do have space hoppers and foam build-them-youself aeroplanes ?

I quite like that idea, more interesting than numbers. Our friends had animals like lions, zebra etc. as they are on honeymoon in South Africa on safari. Our tables will be named after Spurs legends, as this is the only thing H2B really asked for! They will be incorporated into our theme, so won't look odd, which is teal, silver and white (yes, I know teal can be hard...I don't like to make things easy for myself!)

I don't really have a colour scheme or theme. My adult 'slaves are in claret and ivory (same dress, but altered into 3 different styles), my little 'slaves are in dusky pink with claret sash, most other things are silver is silver such as chair sashes, table plan, cake etc. Although the odd thing has pink. Flowers are white for me and pink for BM's.

I have poker chips for name places (all different colours to avoid a colour scheme), our favours are chocolate horses for girls and chocolate footballs for boys. I can't think of anything meaningful enough for table number so are numbering them. We have a magician, cartoonist and giant garden games but I'm not sure if that constitutes a theme?

One thing I have managed to avoid on everything so far are love hearts! It's annoying how many weddingy things have love hearts on them!

Theme none really but probably summed up by relaxed country garden slightly vintage feel

(currently no ideas for table names favour ideas Homemade jam/ chutney or hoemade welsh cakes (my heritage and home made shortbread his heritage)

We ended up having emerald green (BM dress and mens ties) with silver and touches of deep purpley/pink. I just love orchids so they were incorporated too - mine and BM bouquet, mens buttonholes, one in my hair, on the cake and bright purlpey ones on the tables as centre pieces.

I'm thinking of whte / black and silver but not sure if it would look too plain, also like cream's and golds but really wanted a white dress so not sure that would work.

Blue and burnt orange. Which seems to be fairly unique here so far! And we're having a sort of leaf theme as we're getting married in Autumn. Predictable? Yep - but seems to work!

We're having white, lilac and silver (if I can find any nice lilac dresses for my bridesmaids!). I've since been told that lilac is an oldfashioned colour but I'd decided on it before my OH had even proposed!

Wow there is loads of lovely ideas, Ooh La La, I love your pictures, they are fab. In my mind I was thinking of having sage green bridesmaids, but not much else in green, I would have a white bouquet and table arrangements in white with green foliage (which would incorporate more green) and all the tables would be all white and silver. I want loads of sparkley things, like table crystals etc. What do you think of that? I did see a picture of a table arrangement which had limes in the bottom, I like this idea, I have added a pic but I would be thinking of something taller that this but but do you think that I would need a different colour green bridesmaid dress?

Thanks everyone for all your ideas, sorry about the tiny pic. xxx

We're having this for our tables too! This is the only Spurs I would allow though ?. We're having a dark dusky pink and ivory theme. The only pink will be the bridesmaids and some pink roses. The rest is all ivory.

My OH chose our main colour and we are having Spurs blue! Did suggest we could name the tables after players who has played for both Spurs and MUFC (my team) but OH wasn't keen!

Other colours are ivory, silver and perhaps a peacock blue too to tie in the greeny bits at the venue.
