Hi!, I am struggling to pick between a nice shade of blue or delicate pink... and then I will find another colour I like when I am flicking through the pages of the next wedding mag i buy!!

What about you? What are your colours? Maybe you can inspire me! ?

I've gone for a sage green and a very pastel peach - this was purely by accident (originally just wanted green but struggled to find a bridesmaid dress in it) I'm really pleased with the colours, I like how fresh they are!

I also want a rustic feel to the day! Keep seeing so many things I love but don't know if they work together!!! x

Those colours sound lovely, esp the sage green! How long did it take you to decide on the colour/theme - if you are having one? I dont know whether to dress shop first and then colour, or confirm colours first?!!?! Even though it stresses me a little bit, I am loving the organising lol! x

Didn't have "colours" - no BMs, but my dress was ivory and my bouquet shades of ivory and pale pink/apple green.

Theme was "My man and I get married".

    Simple and honest!

We're having black and white (well, ivory) for the same reason. Colour schemes give me a headache! Bridesmaids will be in black, black suits for the guys and bouquets will be black and white silk. Table decs are non-floral.

This. I am having bridesmaids but really not into matching colours, so trying to get them to wear something distinctive but not matching! I've never really understood having colour schemes as they can often be too much if the couple have gone overboard on their colours, but perhaps I am missing the point.

So I guess my colour scheme is anything and everything, and my theme is 'outdoors'! ?

We're going for ivory & lavender, with a few other shades of lilac/purple thrown in just to break it up a little.
My BMs are wearing lavender, my bouquet is going to be a mixture of purple shades in spring flowers, and we're having sheaves of lavender in the church Smiley smile

Not having a theme per se, but my dress is 50's style tea-length, so I'm working with that a bit, and a kind of country-garden thing going on with the flowers.

And we're having balloons!!! Smiley laugh lol

Mix and match is very popular next year where the bridesmaids are wearing multi coloured dresses and flowers in one of the colours within the dress for each bridesmaid. Blue is also still going strong and dusky pinks mixed with pastel pinks and hot pinks altogether. Lots of couples still having the vintage theme but there are quite a few 50's/60's themed weddings booked for next year too.

Our theme is flowers. We are having the bridesmaids (from 26 to 2) in the same dresses but in different lengths and different shades of light pinks, creams and greens so they look like a nice bunch of flowers. The men will have ties that match to the bridesmaids and groom will be in a white tie. We wanted really fresh colours

I have always wanted a chocolate and orange theme and seeing as we are getting married in October i have combined this with an Autumn theme - first purchase being table decoration of artifical leaves, which are fabulous!

Although we have not fixed anything as yet, but i secretly wish the theme is all 'about love' and so the color is a definite red... ?

Ours are autumn colours- burgundy/maroon/deep oranges. Having lots of shades of those colours rather than one specific colour.

Ours has changed so much since starting wedding planning, but now defiantly plum/purple as we have BM dresses. I'm thinking yellow as our wedding is spring & will brighten up next to the plum colour. The venue is gold & pewter so may be adding bits of sparkle too.

Our colours were ivory and turquoise, the theme was 'plain and simple'. We don't like lots of fussy or things that look too fussy, so everything is vey plain and standard (boring as one of my friends told me!)

Ours is sage green, with bits of ivory and silver in it too - and also daisies/gerberas and a bit of pearl too.

My dress is ivory with little daisy sequins and little pearls on it, bridesmaids are in sage green dresses, men in sage green waistcoats, cravats and hankercheif things. Flowers are primarily white husky gerberas and then for me and OH we'll combine white roses too. Invites were ivory, with green borders, and gebera decorations. Young bridesmaids have ivory bags and ivory shoes, my MOH will have the bouqeut mentioned and sage shoes. I could go on and on as we have loads now, but the rest of the decorations are basically ivory and silver with the odd touch of green in it.

So nice to see lots of different colour ideas. Ours is emerald green with ivory and a hint of purple.

A vintage theme with birdcages and literature/books.

I love all the variety of colours and themes everyone has! I keep switching between deep purple and grey/ivory, or just forgetting a specific colour altogether and sticking to 'traditional' wedding colours like creams and neutral shades... can't work out which would help make choosing things like stationery, BM dresses etc easier... any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm doing similar to you hun. Bridesmaids are wearing mid orange, flowers will be orange & cream, suits will be dark brown. My theme is rustic, lots of logs/twigs/pine cones/woody things! For example this is the sort of thing I'm gonna have as my centre piece...

    "Great British Seaside!"

Saucy postcards, Kiss-Me-Quick hats, sandcastle cake, crab (!) cake toppers, sailor tattoo favours, knot-tying, balloons and beach ball lanterns, lighthouse centrepieces, seashells and starfish, yellow and blue colour scheme.

My fella and I met on a pier and have lived near the sea all of our lives, so seemed appropriate!
