What colour schemes are you all having????

We are having white and claret red (very close to burgundy but more red...if that makes sense) x

White, silver and Ice Blue- January wedding

well we're getting married in october (autumn) so we are having the autumn tartan kilts.

so everthing is toning in with that!

I think hot pink and dark blue would be lovely in december! is it going to be a Christmas wedding?

Hi, there Bird, my fellow December bride!

We are getting married literally the day before Xmas Eve but steered clear of a Xmas theme. We have a Winter Wonderland theme, in crisp white and dark green (Hunter Green, also known as bottle green).

As I know most of us here like a *flash*, here's a few of "my favourite things" from our theme:

From the top: 1. The BMs' dresses - that is the green we are using as colour scheme. 2. The cake. 3. Place "cards"; 4. Garlands and swags of fragrant pine and fir will decorate the ceremony room and run along both sides of the aisle, with fake snow and little fake animals (see next pics). 5. Fake little animals dotted along the aisle (my OH says aniumals and birds always draw near to me as if I was Snow White LOL) 6. Top table deco (the pic on right bottom of pic no 6). 7. Snowflake decos we are using to tie over the dark green sashes on the chairs.

That is super, Curly panda! Is that THE dress? That's the one I had been looking at for ages and wanted until I saw another one from the AA Dream in Colour collection and settled on that although not sure what version yet - Hunter green trim or all white!

That's what this site is all about! I am too trying not to bore OH and friends too much especially as the department I work in is closing down in Sep and most people are either taking Voluntary Redundancy or trying to find other jobs in the company so i felt it would have been inapropriate to go on about wedding and stuff when many people are depressed about being potentially unemplyed! I was lucky to secure both my venue and a new job (and a promotion at that!) in the same week and thought to keep my wedding giddiness for hitched where all the other brides to be and BMs are just as excited! xxx

Mine is in May and im having hot pink and bright green!

We are getting married in March and having a turquoise/morroccan/indian theme.

From the top... My shoes! / Diamantes for my clothes on the morning of the wedding / Candle Lanterns (gonna make these) / My Centrepieces (bargain from Bay of E) / Possible BM Dress (from Coast) / Scatter Crystals / Inspiration for Tables / Save the Date Card (Vistaprint, photo is where OH proposed) and Table Place Cards...

Autumn colours, shades of orange, a bit of brown & green to compliment the orange (and avoid some Halloween theme!)

Snap Viking Princess, we're having hunter green too! October wedding, so we're going for hunter green, ivory and orange. The orange will only be in my bouquet and the centrepieces, so the main colours are green and ivory, I just thought the orange would give a splash of colour and is quite autumnal.

I'd like some backing on the choice of orange actually as only one person has thought it's a good idea and MIL2B almost begged me not to have orange! But I think it'd be lovely to have a bold colour in the mix. Hmmph.

We're getting married in March next year and we're using OH's tartan as the base for the colour scheme:

Having hunter green BM dresses and invitations and red flowers for my bouquet. I'm trying to not make it too matchy-matchy though IYSWIM!

5th February wedding.

I'm getting married in a made cadbury purple wedding dress, BM will be in a lilac, and the rest of the theme will be silver and white

Black and white for us - we're getting married August this year.

This was going to be our colour scheme until I fell in love with a purple BM dress. Our theme is now augergine, silver and ivory x

We have gone for hot pink and orange (for June next year). The pic below are not my items but inspiration for my colour scheme
