Absolutely nothing! I forgot to put it in water and it was dead by the time I got back from honeymoon. Told H he needs to buy me pink gerberas for our first anniversary and I will do something with those!

My ex MOH was going to arrange for a relative to freeze mine - obviously that's not going to happen.

My mum's friend is doing our flowers so my mum said that she would ask her if she knew anyone that did it. As I hadn't heard anything (and we're talking over a month here) I've just phoned her and she said that her friend didn't know anyone. When I asked her how long ago it was that she found out, she said a while.

I'm effing livid! She's shown no interest in the wedding and the ONE thing she had to do for me, she ends up stamping 'I don't care' over it....

We've got artificial flowers so we'll be keeping it. We've got a small bouquet together for 'tossing' as a token rather than ruining the proper bouquet.

I thought of doing something too so the guys don't feel left out; obviously flowers are no good so I'll probably be tossing a bag of Haribo.

My sister in law had hers 'preserved' and framed along with her wedding vows and a picture from the wedding day. Very lovely- though not sure I would do the same... not sure where I'd hang it...?

Not that we did this but is the groom not meant to toss the bride's garter??

I put my flowers in water when I got back to my room but to be honest they were already wilted and they didn't even last until we went on honeymoon 3 days later!

I've told H I want tulips for our anniversary each year as that's what I had for my bouquet - not an overly expensive request really is it?

We had such a hot day the roses in my bouquet were brown at the edges & wilting by the end of the day so I didn't see the point preserving it or anything & besides I'm not really sure what I' have done with it or where I'd have kept it. If we'd lost any loved ones I would have put it on their graves but we're lucky enough to still have our loved ones.

? I planned to toss mine but got so caught up with enjoying my day I totally forgot.. plus by the time we'd had our meal they were wilting badly so doubt anyone would have wanted them!

I forgot to toss mine but, to be honest, it was probably for the best! My mum took mine home to dry it for me. No idea what I'm going to do with it. It smelt so lovely though.

I put mine on my Granny's headstone. I had lily of the valley in my bouquet as it was her favourite, so it was nice to put it there.

    I'm a tosser too!! ?

Throwing the bouquet doesn't ruin the flowers. My friend had a shower bouquet wich cost around £150 and threw it - it didn't budge! Mine was a handheld and never budged either.

The friend who got mine put it in water and it lasted over 2 weeks. She was well chuffed.

It would have been dead dead dead by the time I got back off my honeymoon,

WSS. It was no use to me after the day as we were going straight off on honeymoon a couple of days later. I put on top table decoration on my Nan and Grandad's grave x

I'm planning to be a tosser too, can't imagine not! I caught the bouquet once at my friend's wedding, and have fond memories of me jumping up and down in excitement, and Mr FP getting ribbed mercilessly by all our male friends! I'd like to pass that on to one of my nearest and dearest! Plus, weddings I've been to where there's been no toss, I've always noticed it missing x

I still have all of the bouquets, wand and groom's buttonhole!!

They are being lent to a fellow bride as her something borrowed in June, then back to me to gaze at some more!!

Any better suggestions that will be more appreciated then? Somehow the idea of 'tossing' an intimate thing from your bride such as a garter (which as a procedure I didn't even know existed until I read it) at a wedding seems inappropriate to me.

Also, what has a bag of Haribo got to do with a wedding anyway? ?

AJ, if the woman who catches the bouquet is meant to be the next to get married, what will happen to the man who catches the sweets? They become the next person to be obese? It doesn't make sense...

I might get my OH to throw his shoe and whoever catches it/gets hit in the face by it will be the next to "walk down the aisle"
